Right-Wing Rallies in Pierre Saturday, Sioux Falls Thursday!

Some truckers and right-wing radicals are going to get together and yell crazy stuff at each other this Saturday in Pierre.

All those snowflake sociopathic anti-vax truckers who wasted diesel on disease promotion this winter appear to have morphed into something called the “Nationwide Freedom Convoy,” which is promoting radical foolishness in state capitals across American this Saturday. According to the poster above, posted Monday by Hartford bartender and wellness coach Kathleen Krietlow-Puttmann, the Pierre contingent of this “irate, tireless minority” will feature everyone who is going to lose in the statewide primary, along with freelancing Baptist political preacher Matthew Monfore (whose Twitter profile says porn and pre-marital sex are SIN! and whose website adds homosexuality, sports-idolatry, Lakota religion, and sending congratulations to graduates of public high schools to the list of mistakes that will send you to Heck) and recent Oregon transplant blogger Breeauna Sagdal, who professes a commitment to objective, “transpartisan” journalism but whose featuring as a speaker at a far-right rally, not to mention a prevailing right-wing tilt in her corpus of South Dakota posts and sponsors, suggests otherwise.

Krietlow-Puttman is also promoting a candidate forum in Sioux Falls Thursday sponsored by anti-vax Patriot Ripple Effect, featuring election-undermining conspiracy theorists who are running to run elections into the ground as auditors in Minnehaha and Lincoln County:

Three hours in a room with Tom Pischke and Trumpist election liars? The only way that could be relaxing is if Pischke brings lots of whiskey to help wash down the bullshiskey.

Much like the wind, right-wing nuttery never stops blowing on the prairie.

Gosh such real Mericans. Makes you proud. No masks, no shots for those brave ones. They really, really love killing people. It’s their God given right.

i love proofreading propaganda – it’s one of my favorite pastimes.

corrections for the first flyer above: “elected officials’ feet…” and “pack your meals for the day;”

Are these the Hillsdale curriculum dropouts or the graduates?

I’m so sick of these whiny snowflakes. Apparently this is supposed to be a big weekend of hell-raising at all the state Capitol Buildings. Not, apparently, in Madison, Wisconsin. We have several pre-planned events going on on our Capitol Square, including the weekly Farmers’ Market and the annual Crazylegs Run/Walk event, which is YUUUUGE! So, permits for the too late to the party rigties have been denied, but a few righty cranks have vowed to show up anyway, even though they don’t have the money to bus a lot of folks to Madison.. The righty whiners desire to explain to we voters why they haven’t been able to point to ONE case of voter fraud that hadn’t been uncovered by the, you know, election officials they constantly criticize. There were a few cases, and they are being prosecuted, which is more than we can say so far about Mark Meadows, who registered to vote in multiple states in order to cast votes for Trump, not to mention encouraging Wisconsin Republican Party members to engage in insurrectionist and fraudulent casting of fake electoral college votes. I hope they bring their gallows to string up Michael Gableman, the kook running the kooky “investigation” of “voter fraud” in Wisconsin.

It is beyond galling how these people feel they have been unfairly prevented from obtaining their dreams.

#1- they are citizens of the United States of America. That, right there alone, is better than winning all the sweepstakes, ever.

2nd- they are all white. Yes, please, tell me who is stopping them from a single opportunity in this country. Sure wouldn’t be police, judges, nor all-white juries responsible for impeding them. It wouldn’t be disenfranchisement or the stolen generational wealth from uncompensated labor for hundreds of years. They probably weren’t stolen from their families as tots and shipped off to a cold, abusive boarding school for assimilation.

And 3rd- they all look pretty darn healthy to me. They’re not malnourished. Doesn’t appear any of them were forced to grow up near mega substations or toxic chemical plants. They seem to have always had access to water not sullied from industrial or military waste or uranium mining.

I cannot figure a single thing they might be angry about or how they may have been unjustly robbed of their due. Entitlement and privilege are all that is evident looking at that crowd and hearing what they are whining about shows they are a spoiled bunch of brats who need to sit down and be humble. And stfu.

  8. All Mammal 2022-04-27 14:39

I forgot to mention they did not grow up with bombs volleying overhead. They weren’t sent off to foreign soil and forced to shoot at people. They weren’t floating in rafts watching their brothers die. They weren’t forced to leave their home and walk for days just to be turned away at the border, stateless. They all went to school and got to learn how to read. They all get to vote! And they are still crying about how its not fair they have to look at someone wearing a mask? They should have a rally when they run into real problems and injustice. Like their wombs being commandeered by perverted governors.

all mammal – you make lots of broad generalizations about all these people based on appearance alone. i assume each of these folks is a piece of trash, but not for their immutable characteristics, but for their behaviors. i would encourage you to be better than the trash and pick on behaviors, not races or someone’s apparent health. icky.

  10. All Mammal 2022-04-27 15:01

Ryan- I only pointed out what I was able to observe and would NEVER call someone I do or don’t know trash. Acknowledging their exceptional appearance and health are the only accurate assumptions I am able to use as evidence to make my point that they are lacking any real substance for their incredulity. If my statements generalizing them as healthy, advantaged Americans is icky, yet calling strangers trash is acceptable, pardon my befuddlement.

This weekend is also May Day, If you happen to be in Madison, WI, the Democratic Socialists of America are hosting a picnic for all comrades, or tovarisch, if you prefer the Russian. It won’t be at the Capitol Building. I won’t be going, because our Covid counts are going up and this comrade is still distancing socially.

  12. Ryan 2022-04-27 15:23

all mammal – yeah suggesting people must sit down and shut up because of the color of their skin is icky. i stand by my assumption of their trashiness based on behavior. impolite? i can see that. icky? i don’t think so. to each their own, though.

the oppression olympics is a game nobody wins.

Here in New Mexico prosecutors are suing to stop the extreme white wing of the Republican Party from impersonating members of the law enforcement industry after a rally turned violent.

  14. All Mammal 2022-04-27 17:21

Ryan, Ryan, Ryan don’t be silly. I never told whitey to sit down and shut up. Sorry if my statements about invalid grievances offends you. Most white men would maybe reflect on their privilege and realize we need to help everyone realize the same fine perks you all get. Instead, the delicate cupcakes complain about some tyrannosaurus oppressing them and imaginary rights they have been robbed of. If you’re privileged, white, male, and American with good health, nobody has time to hear how you’re discriminated against. Buck up and help out a refugee or the youth or the malnourished. I wouldn’t refer to my countrymen as trashy, unless we were at the city dump and I was being silly too. Very well.

  15. Arlo Blundt 2022-04-27 18:10

I say “let them babble”. the more exposure they get, the more voters will be turned off and the negatives may slop over on the other far right Republicans running as “mainstream” who are really as distorted in their thinking as this bunch. So be it. Let the Lunatics have their forum.

  16. grudznick 2022-04-27 18:16

Ms. Mammal, we don’t know if any of those people are plagued by horrible cancers or are perhaps put-upon minorities that may not be evident by their seeming obvious appearance or perhaps the un-seeable religious doctrines to which they subscribe.

That said, Mr. Ryan, they misspelled “Capitol.”

  17. All Mammal 2022-04-27 19:05

    Don’t forget “repective capitals”.

  18. Arlo Blundt 2022-04-27 19:46

Well..spelling is something we learn in the elementary grades by mastering a language that is mishmash of French, old English, Latin, German, and Scandinavian dialects with some distinctive North American words and arcane spelling rules whose origin is lost in time. It has been replaced by spell check applications but apparently Taffy and the rest of this bunch are in too much of a hurry to conquer the world to use it. As to “pack meals for day”, Pierre does have cafes and grocery stores. The cost of most groceries are only 5 to 10% higher than the rest of the state.

  19. John 2022-04-27 19:58

Evidence of the 3d world South Dakota education is in play with their posters and events.
A pack of teenagers with eggs ran the trucker protest out of Oakland. Hate to waste food – but kids, have fun.

Their Sam Adams quote is spot on though, and why these snowflakes and their fragile egos and diseased ideas must be beaten back at every opportunity.

  20. Ryan 2022-04-28 10:38

all mammal – you said “they are a spoiled bunch of brats who need to sit down and be humble. And stfu.” and then you said “I never told whitey to sit down and shut up.” so pardon my befuddlement at your self-contradictory nature. i admit i got a chuckle out of “exceptional appearance” but i get the impression you were being funny accidentally, not purposefully.

and then you said blah blah blah white male blah privilege… i always appreciate when people advertise their biases so i know to ignore the bulk of their opinions. efficiency for us both, i suppose.

  21. Dicta 2022-04-28 10:48

I recognize my privilege. I owe it to the less fortunate to help them. But if you refer to me as “whitey” or any other slur, we’re fighting. Whether that makes me a “snowflake” or whatever else you’d like to label me, so be it. But you have no right to abuse me.

If you want to be chill to me and have a discussion about what I can do about my privilege to make things better for those struggling, I’m interested.

  22. leslie 2022-04-28 18:01

People! What are these knuckleheads doing that have Cory raising alarm?

    This is a bfd:

“Only last month, in a case from North Carolina the Court declined to hear, Moore v. Harper, four Justices (Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh) said that the independent state legislature question is of exceptional importance to our national elections, the issue will continue to recur and the Court should decide the issue sooner rather than later before the next presidential election. This case involved congressional redistricting, but the independent state legislature doctrine is as applicable to redistricting as it is to presidential elections.”

Republicans will steal 2024 no matter the vote or the electoral college.

“Trump and the Republicans can only be stopped from stealing the 2024 election at this point if the Supreme Court rejects the independent state legislature doctrine (thus allowing state court enforcement of state constitutional limitations on legislatively enacted election rules and elector appointments) and Congress amends the Electoral Count Act to constrain Congress’ own power to reject state electoral votes and decide the presidency.”

  23. All Mammal 2022-04-29 00:51

Mister misters- I’m sorry for offending or abusing any of you. It was not my intention. I realize I tend to overdo it when it comes to spouting off after Mr. H’s reports on smellfungus rally-throwers. I am grateful to live where we all get to exercise our rally-throwing rights and express our fustian opinions. And it is always my intention to provoke your chuckle, Ryan.

  24. Ryan 2022-04-29 08:27

all mammal – i have a lot of hatred in my heart, just like you, so i would never hold it against you. but if everyone directed their anger towards a skin color we don’t like, the world would be a worse place. if we all directed our vibes (good and bad) at behaviors instead of immutable characteristics, we might just see our species make it another 1,000 years. maybe.

This is a fitting place to share Andriy Yermak, face-ripping essay from Time. He’s the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The issue also has free access to an article and an interview of Zelenskyy.

When the UN Secretary visited Kyiv, he admitted the UN and the UN Security Council failed. I’ll add: again.

My favorite line is, “We are DONE with the mandates and push for tyrannical power.” Of course, “their” is assumed as the modifier for both the mandates and the push for tyrannical power. Both these concepts are very much in the wheelhouse of these folks. They are more than willing to seize any and all opportunities to set any and all upon the path of White (a nod to All Mammal) Christian Nationalist righteousness.
