You can’t keep a good felon down… or, apparently, away from a bunch of Big Lying insurrectionists at the Con Palace—oops, sorry: Corn Palace. One of the speakers at yesterday’s Frankenwhine in Mitchell, right-wing commentator Eric Metaxas, posted this photo of himself at the big Joe Piscopo concert in Mitchell yesterday corning around with a dude who appears to be famous South Dakota wire-fraudster, international man of mystery, and fellow Maria Butina dupee, Paul Erickson:
Erickson got a last-night pardon from the last guy in the White House, so he’s free to consort and cavort with whomever he wants. He and Metaxas may be old college chums: they both graduated from Yale in 1984 (Paul in econ+poli-sci, Eric in English). Erickson included Metaxas in the grand tour he provided to Russian agent Maria Butina during her subterfuginal influence campaign in 2015: Metaxas hosted Butina and Erickson on his national radio program in July, 2015, to talk about gun rights and religious freedom (which, of course, go together).
Mike Lindell is bonkers enough on his own. Show me Paul Erickson lurking around at Mike’s big blog launch, and I really start to wonder how big a scam these guys are cooking up for the Russians they love.
