Jackley Says Trump Has Reformed Washington DC

Marty Jackley tells donors that he’ll reform South Dakota just as Donald Trump has reformed Washington, D.C.:

Marty Jackley for Governor, campaign e-mail, 2018.05.04.
Marty Jackley for Governor, campaign e-mail, 2018.05.04.

Has reformed—past tense, as in done, mission accomplished.

Maybe Marty was trying to celebrate May 4, but no Jedi mind trick can declare that Donald Trump has “reformed Washington, D.C.” in any straight interpretation of the phrase. Dozens of PACs, business lobbyists, and foreign governments hold events at Trump’s D.C. hotel. Only a quarter of Americans believe that Trump has “made progress draining the swamp,” while over two-thirds say nothing has changed in D.C.  or that Trump has made it worse. Tom Price, Carl IcahnBen CarsonRyan Zinke, Scott Pruittcorruption is contagious, and Trump has turned his White House into a brothel with no condoms.

Marty Jackley has spent so much time as Attorney General ignoring corruption in Pierre that his political radar now operates in reverse: he sees the most corrupt White House ever and thinks he’s seeing a model for reform. Yikes—Billie Sutton, get on that horse and ride!

Maybe he can reform South Dakota so that Paul Erickson can’t use South Dakota’s lax laws as a way to launder Russian money for Trump’s benefit, and to help crooked “Christians” and rapacious Republicans put on their hatefests.

Or, maybe he will reform the crooked mess the DENR and EPA are trying make at the Gilt Edge Superfund Site. Oh, wait, his own office is a party to that crooked deal.

    Jackley won’t reform anything. He’s a crook.

    Donald,

How did Paul Erickson use South Dakota’s lax laws to launder Russian money for Trump?

Be specific or I will have to call you an idiot.

    Cory,

What is the corruption in Pierre you are talking about?

Yesterday Sam Clovis (Mr. Science) was one of many that resigned or was fired by the Trump administration.
How has Trump reformed Washington when he can’t get people to work for him and do all that reforming?

I think Jackley actually meant Deformed, but, we already knew that. Jackley wants to continue that tradition right here in South Dakota with the Russian Red Wave he was blabbering about.

Jackley wasn’t specific how Trump reformed Washington, D.C.
I would call Trump and his family a syndicate, but the syndicate and mafia had to operate in an orderly fashion.
Trump has brought 15 months of open chaos to D.C., his own staff, what there are left, never know what he is going to do or say each day.
Everyday FOX & Friends gives him a new daily agenda and Trump charges ahead never realizing the consequences of his words and actions.
The best I can think of Jackley’s adoration for Trump and his reforming Washington are the welfare payment called tax cuts he handed out to himself and the 1%.

One thing that I have noticed is that there is really no difference between Jackley and NOem. Nothing whatsoever. The both share equal blame in costing South Dakota more than one billion with a B dollars. They both share the exact same talking points. And, they both have done nothing for South Dakota other than to protect the crooks and liars that have taken so much from our state. We must do better than these two hoodlums and put someone in the office of governor that can move the state to its potential. Billie Sutton.

Jackley is running on being this great guy at cleaning up corruption, yet is talking about supporting Trump who is possibly on the hook for breaking campaign finance law.

Seriously, we’re starting to talk Nixon White House style corruption here, meanwhile Jackley is saying how much he supports the guy, and at the same time is trying to convince us he’s a great crusader for truth, justice and all that is good and right with the world.

What is wrong with this picture?

Speaking of corruption, Screwdy Rudy G, in his capacity as lead Drumpf personal lawyer, told a group of Iranian ex-pats that Drumpf is committed to regime change in Iran. Oh really?

Apparently there is no one in charge of the WH and/or staff. Everyone appears to have separate agendas.

Jackley’s willingness to call Nixon-level corruption “reform” and Noem’s willingness to ignore it place on Billie Sutton an even greater moral imperative to win this election.

Barbara- could Jackley be talking about the kind of corruption that ruined the professional lives and careers of Shirley Schwab and Brandon Taliaferro?

Or should the voters of South Dakota be reminded of what lengths Jackley was willing to go as AG to assassinate public servants characters.

The world knows that Trump is a liar, that is a given, but what should be more concerning is the integrity and character of South Dakota republicans that cling to the liar’s coattails.
Since Michelle Wolf’s calling Trump, Sanders, and other surrogates liars the subject of Trump’s lies has grown in intensity.
Sunday’s cable news programs were all dedicated to the lies of Kellyanne Conway, Rudy Guiliani, etc.
Trump and his liars are now being called out and called “liars” to their faces.
Again, I question the integrity of any candidate that believes a liar and helps to spread his lies.

    REformed? More like DEformed!!! :-O
