Corey Lewandowski is helping plan Kristi Noem’s reïnauguration, says outgoing Senator Mary Duvall:
Members of the gubernatorial inauguration committee in Pierre were surprised by the participation of a special guest during a recent meeting. It was none other than Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for Donald Trump.
Lewandowski, a close confidant of Gov. Kristi Noem’s, joined the meeting by phone, according to Sen. Mary Duvall, the legislative representative to the inaugural committee [Jonathan Ellis, “The Scouting Report: A Weekly Digest,” The Dakota Scout, 2022.12.25].
Noem publicly dissociated herself from Lewandowski in fall 2021 after she had to tell him to quit pawing a big GOP donor at a Las Vegas charity event. But try as she might, Noem just couldn’t keep her distance from Trump’s mastermind. She’s been traveling around the country to campaign with Lewandowski, and Lewandowski has been to South Dakota at least once this year.
Now let’s watch to see how close Kristi lets Corey get to her at the Capitol for this inauguration. With a 62% mandate from the people, what does she have to worry about any bad optics?
A cynical observer might see Corey Lewandowski’s poking about in Mrs. Noem’s affairs a bit like watching Monica Lewinsky licking stamps for President Bill Clinton’s inauguration invitations.
This is just weird. Why does she keep this serial sexual assaulter around? Maybe in the Republican Party there is tolerance for this behavior from not just Donald Trump but from any high ranking man.
Nick is right. “Weird” sums it up. When Bill Clinton had his affair, the church ladies clucked for Clinton’s impeachment. Now South Dakota church ladies are helping plan Noem’s inaugural with the man who is shtupping their governor. I guess Republicans committing adultery is different than when Democrats do it.
I was idly wondering where Kristi Lynn was on Christmas Eve and whether she was spending it with her loved one or her family. I don’t do any of the social disease sites, so I guess I’ll never know. Alas.
Voters have short memories and ignore moral and religious beliefs when electing someone that isn’t the other person running.

Seems pretty aggressive/angry (doesn’t it ?) when footage shows her using it on a cardboard pile which incidentally SHOULD be recycled.

Ms. Larson- I like your point about using the played out, dated Rambo-style weapon for heating fuel and I agree it is grossly too aggressive for any practical application.
I think I might have a coronary if that stack of cardboard you mention our governor incinerating was not post consumer, but brand new cardboard bought just for the purpose to waste in a photo op. I hope they scrounged for empty diaper and unwrapped Christmas present boxes at least.
She could have made her gift useful and fired it up to melt snow for her state, relieving some of the burden on the taxpayers, while freeing residents from insurmountable barricades.
Ok…. I have always wanted a flame thrower. Governor Noem scored on that gift.
I’m guessing there will never be any reconciliation with the present governor and doubt her or her horse could have made the 38+2 ride to Mankato, but I have not seen any SD press releases of the ride, only pictures her and her flamethrower. Instead of being proud of the weapon, maybe check the history of such, and have Corey find an old dead body so they can inhale the smell of burning flesh together. It would create great media coverage at the inauguration.
When your staff gives you a flame thrower; that you’re cold and insensitive is no longer a hypothesis. It’s just who you are. Why not laugh about it?

I didn’t respond, though, despite being male, like .. very very very very straight, Black (we are all from Africa, right?) Native American (according to Grandma) Arab (Syrian according to my aunt) and white White (25% Norwegian) because we’re both taken.
Remember when the Earth haters descended on former First Lady Michelle Obama for baring her shoulders? There has been nary a murmur about Kristi Noem doing it let alone calling out Melania Trump for her past as a hooker. Anyone who believes Kristi’s never been a victim of sexual harassment or unwanted touching is delusional.
It’s really hard not to slut-shame someone who’s gone all out to be one. Noem has never supported the Violence Against Women Act and if her abusers were Democrats she’d be singing like a cardinal. Kristi Noem is a MILF. Is she compliant, infidelitous, or simply a jaded career politician who’s used to trading her favors for advancement?
