Role Model: Dusty Johnson Gets Coronavirus Shot, Volunteers, Tells Everyone to Do Their Part

While Governor Kristi Noem briefly invited us to choose to get vaccinated against coronavirus and then returned to her flood of clueless partisan campaigning, Congressman Dusty Johnson got his shot (the Johnson & Johnson shot, of course) and is telling us to all get ours:

“I want to do my part, and I want to encourage everybody else to do their part as well,” Rep. Dusty Johnson said.

…“I think our entire country is really looking to get back to normal,” Johnson said. “COVID has been a pain. I mean obviously there’s been a human death toll, but there’s also been a real toll in fewer visits to grandparents, viewer public events. This is how we get back to normal.”

…“I’ve got it in my system because I want to try to model good behavior,” Johnson said. “If we want to get to herd immunity, if we want to make sure that this, these communities can open back up fully, we got to get the vaccines in arms.”

…“Now is the time for people to step up even if they’re young,” Johnson said. “Even if they’re healthy, we got to get this country back to normal, and the vaccine is one of the greatest developments in medical history. This administration and the previous administration and all of the scientists and researchers really deserve a ton of credit. Let’s honor their effort by getting the vaccine” [Dan Santella, “‘Now Is the Time for People to Step Up Even If They’re Young, Even If They’re Healthy’: Dusty Johnson Receives Covid-19 Vaccine,” KELO-TV, 2021.04.06].

Did you catch those last two lines? No matter which party or President you want to credit, you can put your arm muscle where your mouth is and GET YOUR SHOTS!!!

Right after getting his shot and taking the 15-minute pause to make sure the vaccine didn’t make him woozy, Congressman Johnson then volunteered to help check other South Dakotans in for their shots.

Role models lead from the front or beginning, not after the alternative facts are debunked over and over and over…..

Young johnson is no example of a statesman. Young johnson is no role model. Young johnson voted against Biden’s COVID relief bill – he didn’t want you to receive your COVID stimulus or your family to receive stimulus for each child. Worse yet, young johnson voted against 45th’s impeachment. Young johnson is another go-along-to-get-along, lacking a moral compass endemic to statesmen. Young johnson, being ‘not quite as bad’ as the others in the SD delegation falls far short of being a role model or statesman.

I think it’s important to give credit where credit is due. Nobody is going to agree with everyone on everything all the time, at least I hope not. Not much progress gets made when everyone is in agreement on everything. Glad Dusty and Thune are stepping up here.

Putting your voice out there when there is nothing to lose isn’t stepping up. It costs nothing for the gutless to pretend they have guts. All political baloney and meant for appearances only.

Motor City loud mouth, Ted Nugent, once again proves he is a total moron.

While complaining about the yearlong pandemic canceling his tour for a second time, Nugent, 72, called the production companies that won’t let him hit the road “dirty bastard, lying, scam, smoke-and-mirrors COVID-19 freaks.”

He then went on to say that his “common-sense meter would demand [an] answer” to this question:

‘Why weren’t we shut down for COVID 1-18?’ — Ted Nugent

This self named genius would be the perfect addition to Noem’s next campaign. BTW, Miss Prissy Britches has asked Biden to reconsider her request to burn down Mt Rushmore on July 4th. The stoopid is extra strength in these magats.
