Litz Back from Coronavirus, Urges Masks in Public

Minnehaha County Auditor Bob Litz came down with coronavirus while running his small corner of the most secure election in American history. Just a month and a half from retirement, Litz is back on the job and telling everyone to wear their masks to prevent further spread of the pandemic:

“People say, you’re in this leadership position, you should blah-blah-blah. I’ve been wearing a mask for a long time, more than a lot of people and I feel like I’ve done my part. Can I do more? Yes. This is like raising children, you can always do more. So did I change my behaviors? Yes I do,” Litz said.

Behaviors Litz says include a stronger emphasis on masking-up for everyone.

“Wear a mask, wear a mask, when you’re out in public, period,” Litz said [Perry Groten, “Minnehaha County Auditor Back on the Job, Says He Should Have Worn a Mask More Often,” KELO-TV, 2020.11.12].

The election ran well, and people should mask up: Bob Litz stands as a counterexample to the two biggest lies Republicans are telling Americans right now.

Wearing masks for individual and public safety should never have become a political issue. It is common sense. Thank you Bob Litz for telling it like it really is. Hopefully your comments will make a difference in the battle against the covid 19 virus.

On a related topic, I see Noem says she won’t support a lockdown or mask mandate. Looks like the gauntlet has been thrown down for the next presidential campaign to begin.

    Get this, America?
In South Korea, the government issued a national medical mask mandate because of 200 cases.
    200.
Today in the USA we had 170,000+ new cases in a single day.
    But, meh. Masks? Shrug.
    Come on!

Ms. Leslie, please wear a mask and stay home.
