Kloucek and Bjorkman Campaign Jump Dead GOP Battery

When your campaign needs a jump-start, whom do you call? Frank Kloucek:

The Kloucek campaign truck had enough juice to campaign for Democratic U.S. House candidate Tim Bjorkman and restart a Johnson campaign vehicle, which Frank tells me had been drained by too much iPad charging.

Good neighbor Frank Kloucek and his fellow faithful Democrats are entitled to enjoy this moment, are they not?

Wait—if we just shout “R—R—R—R!” the truck should go, right? Scotland Stampede Parade, 2018.08.11.

Dead Battery—that describes Jason Ravnsborg. Yeah, vote for Randy Seiler! Scotland Stampede Parade, 2018.08.11.

It’s probably a good thing Jason Ravnsborg went to Humboldt and Castlewood yesterday instead of Scotland; his little campaign car probably couldn’t have jumped the Dusty/Kristi truck:

“drained by too much iPad charging”

    Hi Cory,

Thanks for the nice story of neighborliness in our hyper partisan country. However, we needn’t spread moral panic about charging our devices with our motor vehicles. :)

iPad holds about 7000 milliAmpHours. Car battery is about 100 AmpHours. Pickup truck, more. Worst case scenario, a totally dead iPad takes 7% of a not-running car’s juice.

    Kind regards,
    David

Real Democrats would have had a solar powered electric car, not a gas guzzling earth hating truck

  6. Thanks for those tech details, David! A source on the scene heard iPads blamed for the power outage… but yeah, you’re right: at that battery capacity, it would have taken 14 iPads to sap that truck’s battery. Maybe they were cranking Lee Greenwood on the tape deck, too. ;-)

Ravnsborg doesn’t campaign above himself. His Mini-Cooper is, at least, as jurisprudently challenged to be AG as he is.

David Bergan, the Chinese believe machines have souls. Maybe this particular battery got fed up with wingnuts and decided to withhold power from right wing propagandists.

Ravnsborg is singing up for tutoring. He needs to find out how to actually be a lawyer. Maybe his “good friend” Jerry Miller can help him. The first question will be to learn how to speak correctly without his normal garbled up speech. I think he should borrow Kim Kardashian’s waist trainer. He looks like he’s about 6 months preggers

I love this. I have know Frank Kloucek for 28 years and he is in all aspects a stand up guy. Always willing to help any person in need. Way to go Frank, America needs more people like you.

If I am looking at these photos correctly it appears the Republican pickup truck was lined up right behind a manure spreader. Seems about right.

There is also another episode of Frank lending a helping hand at Pierre to a Republican legislator with a disabled car and the weather was typical SD Pierre weather in the winter: COLD. Frank is above politics and will always rise up to help someone. As the story goes, many cars had driven by this disabled vehicle with the driver still with the vehicle. Frank knew who it was before he stopped, but that didn’t matter. It was cold and a fellow human being needed help, so he helped. We do need more people like Frank…definitely Frank has South Dakota values.

Mr. Kloucek is a well meaning and friendly fellow, all can attest to that. In the legislatures only the current Mr. Nelson has bigger record of ineffectiveness. That should not demean Mr. Kloucek reaching out to help a fellow citizen, or sending boxes of kolatches, so keep those coming, Frank!

    Way to go Frank!
    Go away,grudz.

    Wonderful!

Could that broken down campaign vehicle be a metaphor for the rest of the Noem campaign?

  17. Mike, a sharp postcard designer or video campaigner would certainly find a way to press that metaphor.

Why we need Frank Kloucek in Pierre and Tim Bjorkman in Washington. Our state and country are being attacked and hacked. When an 11 year old kid can hack into Florida’s election system and change votes, we should fix the problem. Won’t happen with Comrade Dusty, that is for damned sure. Won’t happen in South Dakota either until we rid ourselves of the Duma in Pierre.

“Election hackers have spent years trying to bring attention to flaws in election equipment. But with the world finally watching at DEFCON, the world’s largest hacker conference, they have a new struggle: pointing out flaws without causing the public to doubt that their vote will count.” https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/kevincollier/voting-hackers-defcon-failures-manufacturers-ess

“Like a good neighbor, Democrats are there”! (Well, the good neighbors, Klouceks proved it). Wonder if the (R) campaign would have made a small contribution to District 19 Dem. coffers or Frank in lieu of cost for AAA or tow service to jump-start them? Republicans certainly have the big $$. Nonetheless, wouldn’t it be great when we can get back to reaching out & work with one another to accomplish GREAT things. I’m wondering if Sutton campaign needs a jump start? Where are the yard signs, Billie? I have Bjorkman & Seiler covered…where are yours?
