Blogging on the Radio: Lalley and CAH Talk DiSanto/Johnson Fight Video, CAFO Pooplines, and Collective Bargaining

Whoo-hoo! Patrick Lalley still thinks I’m worth having on the air!

In today’s blogging on the radio (our fifteen-minute segment starts at 35:00), Lalley and I talk about the hottest silent movie in South Dakota: the House security video of the DiSanto/Johnson exchange that almost provoked an expulsion hearing. Then we turn to the CAFO poopline bill (HB 1184), which Senate Transportation nuked yesterday, and mention Speaker G. Mark Mickelson’s business interest in CAFOs. I also note with relief the death of the higher-education collective bargaining ban (HB 1199), which the Senate narrowly killed this afternoon 16–18. Look at that vote, and you’ll see that “Our six Democrats saved our Regental system from a massive outflux of disrespected professors.”
