Noem to Campaign for Trump in Iowa Week Before Legislature Starts

Governor Kristi Noem didn’t lay out any grand Legislative agenda in her budget address because she knew she wouldn’t be around to focus on it. Instead, she plans to spend her winter campaigning for Trump:

Trump campaign website, announcing MAGA event with Kristi Noem January 3 in Sioux City, posted 2023.12.22.
Trump campaign website, announcing MAGA event with Kristi Noem January 3 at “County Celebrations Center” in Sioux City, posted 2023.12.22.

Six days before the Governor opens the 2024 Legislative Session with her State of the State Address, and she’ll be away in Sioux City crying MAGA! to the authoritarian mob.

Of course, it won’t be a big mob. The Country Celebrations Event Center (funny: the Trump website and most of the news outlets copying and pasting the announcement, even a Sioux City TV station and Sioux City radio station, spell it wrong, as “County Celebrations Center”) can accommodate 500 people… which will make it impossible for Trump and Noem to bring in the thousands of people whom Trump says always show up for his rallies.

Not that Trump needs Noem to draw a big crowd. Three weeks before the Iowa caucus, a Fox Business poll shows Trump at 52% in Iowa with triple the support of Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley. So when we say Noem will be campaigning for Trump, we should make clear that sentence continues: Noem will be campaigning for Trump’s attention in the veep pageant.

Sad when people sell their soul to follow someone who has been convicted of sexual abuse and admits he can grab women’s crotches because he’s a star. Would you want your children or grandchildren to emulate someone who has No moral character, No ethnics, No moral values, steals from charities, calls people names, belittles the disable, commits adultery and can’t speak the truth?

A few days ago there was an article in the USAToday that listed all of Trump’s possible Veeps. Of course, our Lady of the Snow was on that list. When she saw that, I’m sure she got that tingly feeling all over, and we can expect to see very little of her in SD over the next year. What a great ticket that would be, a sexual predator/fraudster/indicted felon and Prairie Palin. Freedumb, baby! ;-)

Democrats trying so hard to keep Trump from winning. However, the Democrats are a mess of a party, they are not well organized. The Republican Party with all their factions, are well organized. And do not under estimate the power of the people as they hold Committee Meetings all across America. They are well in support of MAGA which is not about Trump but Trump has become the Voice vs Corruption and Against Tryranny.

i am retweeting this tweet from December 1, the day the D.C. Circuit rejected the former president’s claim that he was entitled to immunity from civil suit and liability for his conduct up to and on January 6, 2021. “This explanation from today’s D.C Circuit opinion for why the former president is not entitled to immunity from civil suit for his conduct “up to and on January 6” is the same explanation for why he is also not entitled to immunity from criminal prosecution for that same conduct.
It’s also the explanation for why the former president violated the Constitution’s Executive Vesting Clause by attempting to remain in power instead of “return to the mass of the people,” when “the mass of the people” had elected then-candidate Joe Biden to be the next president:
“The principle that an incumbent President seeks re-election in his private capacity rather than in his official capacity finds its roots in the Framing. . . . The essence of those Framing-era principles, in the words of Chief Justice Marshall,
is that “the president is elected from the mass of the people, and, on the expiration of the time for which he is elected, returns to the mass of the people again.” United States v. Burr, 25 F. Cas. 30, 34 (C.C.D. Va. 1807) (Marshall, Circuit Justice).”

A reminder to Zitterich that he will owe me $100 since Donald Trump won’t be on a single general election ballot in November.

  7. Mike Zitterich 2023-12-26 12:24

Trump Will be on ALL Ballots come November 2024. Even if he is removed from 2, the ELECTORS will still vote for him as they get to vote for 2 candidates.

Trump is going down in a ball of flames.

intersting! “Brainwased”are these idiots, likely from decades of Rush Limbaugh HATE successors and imitators, and Fox News, which KOTA still floods West River with, after carrying folksie Paul Harvey for previous decades:

16 Michigan fake electors Trump minions created, aged 55 to 81, each charged with 8 felonies trying to steal Biden’s presidency, are brainwashed, according to the state Attorney General. (i think some 26 red states have RAGA Attorneys General)

One of the youngest fake electors, a Mr. King may be mentally incompetent to stand trial. Trump’s depravity preyed on these Republican weaklings! Kristi is one such outrageous Republican weakling. One fake elector, a Mr. Renner now admits his foolishness.

Mitch McConnell and his protege’, our own fool John Thune are the most culpable in this nightmare, ducking two presidential impeachments, as chief proponents of Trump’s “innocence”!

What say you, Zit, grdz and your ilk of freeloaders twisting in the wind, squawking desperately here that “Up is Down???”

Sorry, i’ve gotten out of the tediousness of constant spell and respell-checking :) Although Cory’s most virulent, for now, poster here (lately) doesn’t set much of an example.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion: Trump state economies are in the toilet according to Creighton University’s Ernie Goss but it’s not about laziness, it’s about Maria shrugged, if you will.

The Trump Organization was simply the latest obstacle to public education because it hates people of color and social equity, too. Add it all up: Rupert Murdoch and Elon Musk — not-so-closeted racists themselves, the Kochs, JBS, the Council for National Policy, the National Rifle Association, Fox News, Tucker Carlson, their attacks on public education and their fear of the “Great Replacement.”

Just because we’re Democrats doesn’t make us subjects; it makes us powerful. The extreme white wing of the Republican Party wants a not so civil war over critical race theory and DEI because oligarchs fear an admission of guilt implies liability and they will be compelled to pay reparations to Indigenous and to the descendants of enslaved people.

No, Jet, I didn’t see that story, since Raw Story is paywalled.

I’m sorry, Ms. leslie, you seem rather rattled and anxious and out-of-sorts. Did grudznick somehow lead you to believe that I am an election denier, or are you perhaps confusing me with Mr. Zitterich, or perhaps with a different grudznick. There are many.

Sounds like an exciting evening of preenin’ and propagandizing, but alas, I have to get stitches out of my knee that day.

Maine threw the orange stink butt from that state’s ballot. “In 1870, North Carolina elected former Confederate Zebulon Vance to the U.S. Senate but he was disqualified under the 14th Amendment, without trial, and so did not serve.”

The Washington Post, to which I am a long-time online subscriber, has an annual article called, The List.
It lists the items, people, and topics that are Out, from the previous year, and what is In, for the coming year.

The List was just released in today’s WaPo edition. It says that “Nikki for President” is Out, and “Kristi for Vice President” is In.
I’ve been saying this for a long time. She wants to become president the same way Gerald Ford became president.
