Kristi Noem Raising Money in Ohio Tonight; Ohio GOP Teen Web Noisemaker Prefers Local Talent

Kristi Noem is out of the office again, campaigning for vice-president this fine Friday in Columbus, Ohio, where she is headlining the Ohio Republican Party’s State Dinner:

Some Ohio conservative teenager trying to make a name for himself on the Interwebs (though not a full name, it appears, since he’s just 17) seems unhappy with the South Dakota governor’s interlopation:

Appropriately, this teenage aspirant to MAGA (Make America Glorify A**holes?) celebrity is using Noem’s Twitter handle to draw attention to his boycott of the event and his own fundraising efforts:

I can dig the point: why should Ohio Republicans spotlight a governor from way out in South Dakota when they have so many stellar Ohio champions of conservatism to put at the big kids’ table—Jim Jordan, JD Vance, even suburban Columbus inhabitant Vivek Ramaswamy (although given the Ohio GOP’s endorsement this afternoon of Donald Trump, inviting Vivek to this hometown stage could have been awkward).

But I don’t know, Josh—I think you’d have raised your profile and your online cash count more if you’d played nice and invited Noem to speak on your podcast.

  1. I’m not attacking Noem. I’m not going to the dinner because 1.) I refuse to pay $120 for one meal, and 2.) I don’t want to give $120 to the Ohio GOP.

I’m a fan of your Governor, and I’d encourage her to come on the show anytime.

Cory, the male brain isn’t fully capable of making sensible decisions until age 26-30 years of age. Go for the bucks Josh. No matter who it comes from.

She’ll be a big hit in Ohio. Hopefully she’s added some humorous zingers to her standard speech, and as Ohio GOP has already endorsed Trump, she can slavishly praise “Orange Jesus”.

  4. Josh, $120 is a pretty low price for a Noem event. Admission to her 2022 Jackson Hole event was $500.

Your critique of $120 as too high a price for a meal is valid. Parties that understand the need to engage young voters who have yet to cash in on the fruits of crony capitalism often offer student rates and other discounts. The Ohio GOP’s failure to make the evening affordable for students shows its failure to recognize the economic condition and political value of young voters. Josh, you might be happier as a Libertarian. They have no money but lots of principles… the exact opposite of the guy you’ve fallen for.

What is there to like about Noem? She is not honest. She is not faithful to her marriage vows. She’s not…… oh, I get it. She is the second, third, fourth or latest iteration of drumpf, the king.
