With the SDGOP machine freaking out over a drag show at SDSU, we should note that Governor Kristi Noem’s Florida jet-friend and campaign donor Jacqueline Siegel hangs out with drag queens in Beverly Hills:
Siegel merrily judged a drag show at legendary Orlando gay resort Parliament House in 2015. Siegel and her husband David donated $7,604.84 worth of catering to Noem’s gubernatorial campaign in 2021. . Siegel organized the 2021 charity dinner in Las Vegas where Noem witnessed her advisor Corey Lewandowski sexually harassing a big Republican donor. Siegel just settled a lawsuit accusing her of sexually harassing an employee. If I were a Noem Republican, I could easily connect the dots….
Maybe that’s why God sent that hurricane to Florida in October to flood Siegel’s mansion. Maybe that connection to drag shows is why God is sending all this snow and cold to Kristi’s state.
Drag shows are the latest “pool halls” for the conservative con men.

The Music Man is a great musical about how easily people can be conned. Just manufacture a suitable societal ill or bogeyman, hype it to the max to frighten a gullible public, and propose to fix it while collecting money from the scared rubes. Drag seems to be a money maker for the Republican illiterati. Harold Hill, though, is subject to the one great problem for all con men, who need a fast escape. Love. I’m sure Noem and Knoemnothings are immune to that problem. If the money runs out, they’ll find another con.
Noem’s coronation is likely to be a drag, for normal people.

Drag shows are hilariously fun and family oriented in MN (the ones I’ve been to anyway). The DFL had a blast when MN legalized gay marriage in 2012 and welcomed all supporters out to celebrate, topping it off with a drag show and dance in the evening. Loads of fun and laughter that evening and plenty of straight families with their kids were dancing away celebrating equality. Learn from Minnesotans – drag shows are just good funny entertainment. Relax SD – drag shows are full of creativity and fun. Something we need more of these days.

Grudz, it’s a bad thing. If the feds are going to let this land go from public domain, it should go to the tribes, not the state. The State of South should not be rewarded with this land because it failed to properly regulate gold mining.

Labeling something a “smear” article does not refute the facts laid out nor my contention that the logic of Noem’s Republican supporters should lead them to scream and holler about her association with a wealthy elitist who promotes the drag-queen culture that those Republicans deem such a menace to our society.
