Ahlers and Legislative Candidates Speak Tonight, 8 p.m., at Bon Homme Dems Meeting

The Bon Homme County Democrats are doing their part to promote the change we need in the United States Senate and to minimize the spread of coronavirus. Bon Homme Dems are inviting the public to Dan Brandt’s farm (30992 301st Street, between Avon and Tyndall) for a public meeting this evening (Wednesday, September 23) at 8 p.m. with Democratic Senate candidate Dan Ahlers and local Legislative candidates.

Neighbor Frank Kloucek e-mails that face masks and social distancing will be used. The event will be handicap accessible; those not in wheelchairs should bring lawn chairs if they plan to sit.

The program starts at 8 p.m., but reporters are welcome to come a half-hour early to ask the candidates questions.

Mr. Kloucek, will there be pastries provided? If you did not know this, Bon Homme County makes the some of the best pastries, and those fellows who travel to visit with Mr. Ahlers might appreciate a fine pastry.

You could charge Mr. Ahlers’ fat campaign account, and make a few bucks for your county party at the same time. Just sayin…

Jerry, I had heard rumors of Good Hair Perry’s shady dealings while Energy Suckretary, but figured wingnuts would do nothing about it. Thanks for the humorous read.

Dan Ahlers is a good Democrat for South Dakota legislature, but he would be an even better addition to Washington. Here, in South Dakota, New Underwood has now gone to online classes for both the middle school and high school and have canceled their Homecoming until they can get a hold of this deteriorating situation with the trump virus.

In the meantime, republican legislators in South Dakota are addressing the trump virus in schools by…WHAT?

“South Dakota Republican lawmakers on Wednesday pushed the state’s high school activities association to reconsider its policy of allowing transgender students to compete in the gender with which they identify.”

This is their most important thing to do, what a bunch of low crooks. Yep, that’s what they’re all about, corruption. You know they had their hand out for this kind of stupid. Grease those palms boys, how much did you get? Hey, there’s some girls in there too with the same outreach of the palms.
