Noem Hasn’t Opened Her Fox Vanity Studio to SD Media Interviews

Following up on Tom Lawrence’s breaking of the story of Governor Kristi Noem’s private vanity video studio, Angela Kennecke reports that the Snow Queen is using her new studio mostly for national outreach, not to communicate with South Dakota media:

We can confirm that KELOLAND News, along with other South Dakota TV stations we reached out to, have not been offered any live interviews with Governor Noem from her new studio. Without more information provided by the governor’s office, it appears it has only been used for live interviews on Conservative networks and public service announcements [Angela Kennecke, “Gov. Noem Uses $130K Studio to Boost National Conservative Profile and Reach South Dakotans,” KELO-TV, 2020.04.23].

Team Noem tries to justify the studio by telling Kennecke that shooting live sitdowns with Fox News in Pierre is a lot cheaper than flying the state plane to the closest TV studio.

Whether spiffy, cool, private studio or flying the state plane to the closest TV studio, she must be on Faux Snooze because… ????

So, let me get this right. She used South Dakotan’s tax money to build a studio on property owned by the State of South Dakota to subsidize Fox News. That iis essentially her argument. This isn’t about making it easier to communicate with South Dakotans through South Dakota media. And It’s not all about vanity, either. It’s about massaging her masters at Fox in New York City, and being a good underling serving the Fox Empire.

This is what happened. She was advised by those who are running Fox that they couldn’t be running a crew out to Pierre every time they wanted her to lie about something. That would be fiscally irresponsible on the company’s part. They could find liars anywhere. So they told her she should soak South Dakota taxpayers for the bill.

Noem is mass of silly putty waiting to be molded by Fake Noize skillful propagandists. Are there no Fake Noize affiliates in South Dakota?

Let’s face facts – she had the studio built deliberately to make sure she never actually has to face her constituents except on her terms. (And because Corey Lewandowski told her to.) And, now that COVID-19 is here, she’s never going to leave. Did she show up in Sioux Falls to actually to talk to the CDC? No. Will she ever show up in Sioux Falls, with our highest in the state rate of infection (currently 1% of Sioux Falls citizens officially has COVID-19 and that’s with lousy testing)? No. She’s chicken. She’s afraid of her constituents, she’s afraid of the coronavirus, and she’s afraid of criticism.

Donald, you’ve got that right… as does everyone else here.

The next hardball question Fake Noize asks Noem will be the first one they ever asked. This is the reason she has a connection to softball hall of shame.

Apparently, she wanted the studio more than a fence, huh? But it never ceases to amaze me how a state that doesn’t pay its teachers enough can still find money for things like this.

Kristi Noem splurges with our money on her Foxlies propaganda studio while SD Dept Labor “reemployment”denies unemployment insurance to 26% of the newly unemployed. When times are tough you got to cut expenses somewhere….

If you search the photo of COVID Kristi’s media bunker, it appears to have not yet been used. Missing were the roller brushes, spackle and 5-gallon buckets of Krisiti’s signature Esprit de Slough foundation at the makeup table. Gone, too, were the brow, eye liner, eye shadow and mascara to achieve that certain come-hither-now-get-the-hell-out, je ne regrette rien affect to set male anchormen and Fox bobbleheads on their heels.

Also missing is any sign of the kind of equipment that should have cost $130,000. Three government issue chairs. The vanity table and lights. Two cameras and a tripod. Two crates of what must be some electronics (the one on the right looks like one that sat in the entry of the Governor’s large conference room). A SONY computer screen. Three bottled waters and a can of hair spray. Cheap government issue carpeting, a grey government issue trash bucket and blue government issue paint on the walls.

If the Keystone Cops on the Legislative Operations & Audit Committee would dare to subpoena the invoices for COVID Kristi’s Vanity Studio and spend 15 minutes looking up the market value of the equipment, they might find out that our state was treated like a sucker.

Tom Lawrence might want to see those invoices. That’s quite an admittance fee to be a regular gadfly on Fox & Friends.

96 Tears, COVID Kristi is excellent. Can I borrow it?

Does anyone doubt the Faux Noize kids tell Kruel Kristi exactly what to expect and help her out with responses on the many occasions when she’s Klueless? She’s not going to talk to anyone who doesn’t offer her that same hyper protected scenario.
