Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Good Wednesday. We know this murderous ICE agent’s name because Kristi Noem is an idiot, putting her zeal for propaganda above the security of her agents.
In her news conference in Minneapolis shortly after the shooting, Homeland Security Secretary Noem revealed details about the agent intended to bolster this murderous fascist regime’s ridiculous claim that the man who murdered Renee Good was the victim of domestic terrorism:
ICE alone is facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats against all of them. In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and drug him back in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well [DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, press conference, 20276.01.07, transcript by Rev].
June 2025, dragged by car… that’s all the press needed to track down the court records and the name of the murderer:
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 is the same officer who was dragged and injured by a fleeing driver in a separate incident last year, according to a person with knowledge of the case and verified by court documents.
Little public information is available about the agent, Jonathan Ross, 43, described only by federal officials as “an experienced” officer with more than 10 years at ICE. It’s not immediately clear which field office Ross is based out of.
…The Star Tribune named Ross because he is a government employee involved in a high-profile federal investigation. Under Minnesota law, the names of state and local law enforcement officers who are involved in shootings are typically considered public information and released by agencies. The state law mandating disclosure does not apply to federal agents, however, and Homeland Security officials had not said when or if they would release the agent’s name. They had, however, released several identifying details.
…On June 17, Ross was participating in an arrest of Roberto Carlos Munoz-Guatemala, a Mexican citizen, in Bloomington. Munoz-Guatemala had previously been convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and had been put on a detainer by immigration officials. Munoz-Guatemala ignored the agents’ commands, including to fully roll down his car window, so Ross broke open his rear window and reached inside to unlock the door.
Munoz-Guatemala put the vehicle in drive and accelerated onto the curb, the charges said. Ross was dragged alongside the vehicle and twice fired his Taser as Munoz-Guatemala wove back and forth “in an apparent attempt to shake” him from the car. About 300 feet down the road, Munoz-Guatemala re-entered the street and the force knocked the officer from the car.
The agent required 20 stitches for a deep cut in his right arm and another 13 stitches in his left hand, according to court documents. A jury convicted Munoz-Guatemala of assaulting a federal officer in December.
…DHS confirmed Thursday that the agent who killed Good was the same officer dragged by a suspect in Bloomington last June. Although Ross was not named in the 13-page indictment of the driver, he is identified in several court records in the case, including photo exhibits from the hospital. He is also listed by name as a witness and in the jury instructions.
A law enforcement source, who is not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed that Ross is the shooter [Liz Sawyer, Andy Mannix, and Sarah Nelson, “ICE Agent Who Fatally Shot Woman in Minneapolis Was Dragged by Car in Earlier Incident,” Minneapolis Star Tribune, 2026.01.08].
Note that in her leak, Kristi Noem also lied: the driver who dragged Jonathan Ross last June was not an “anti-ICE rioter”; he was a criminal suspect, not a protestor, and his arrest happened at traffic stop near the suspect’s home, not an anti-ICE demonstration.
But the press was able to see around Noem’s distortions (as we patriots must do every day), so thanks to Kristi Noem’s leak, we know that the ICE agent who murdered Renee Good suffered from severe trauma on the job less than seven months ago. Placing himself in a similar dangerous situation, Jonathan Ross may have revealed that he has not received sufficient counseling to recover from that trauma and that his trauma may have caused him to ignore his training, ICE policy, safe police practice, and the facts of situation.
What do law enforcement experts generally advise when it comes to potentially shooting at the driver of a moving vehicle?
I’m going to give you three different parts to answer that question. First, we need to keep in mind the legal rules that justify shooting at all. Under a 1985 case called Tennessee v. Garner, officers can use deadly force when the subject is reasonably perceived as presenting an imminent threat of death or great bodily harm. So, at a very big picture level, we have to answer the question of: Did the officer reasonably perceive an imminent threat of death or great bodily harm? If the answer is no, there shouldn’t be a shooting.
That leads to some sub-questions in the context of shooting at moving vehicles. The first combination of two of those is: Did the vehicle present an imminent threat of death or great bodily harm? And, if so, why? For decades now, officers have been trained that they can avoid being run over if they just don’t position themselves in a vehicle’s path of travel. There are tactical manuals and articles that are very clear that describe stepping in front of or behind a vehicle as a very poor tactic—one that’s contrary to common sense. An officer cannot physically stop the vehicle from moving so there’s really no tactical benefit to stepping in front of the vehicle, but there’s a lot of tactical risk because it can hit you.
Maybe the officer didn’t have a choice. Maybe the vehicle turned towards them, or something like that. The next question we ask is whether the officer could have addressed the threat presented by that vehicle without shooting at the vehicle. That’s because shooting at a moving vehicle is not a reliably effective way of actually stopping that vehicle. If you imagine a vehicle driving toward you, shooting the driver is not going to cause that vehicle to stop. One, you might not actually incapacitate the driver. But even if you do, you’ve just gone from having a guided missile to having an unguided missile.
So, we have another layer of police training and guidance that says, don’t shoot at moving vehicles when the vehicle itself is the only weapon involved unless there is no other way to potentially address that threat. If you can move out of the way, it is better to move out of the way [Seth Stoughton, professor of law and cirminal justice, University of South Carolina, interviewed by Noah Lanard, “Cops Are Taught Not to Shoot into Cars. ICE Keeps Doing It Anyway,” Mother Jones, 2026.01.08].
Or maybe Jonathan Ross, like his boss Kristi Noem, acted on a displaced impulse for revenge and a case of terminal stupids and murdered an innocent woman whose last recorded words, directed at Jonathan Ross, were, “That’s fine, I’m not mad at you“:
A new, 47-second video that was published online by a Minnesota-based conservative news site, Alpha News, and later reposted on social media by the Department of Homeland Security shows the shooting from the perspective of ICE officer Jonathan Ross, who fired the shots.
Sirens blaring in the background, he approaches and circles Good’s vehicle in the middle of the road while apparently filming on his cellphone. At the same time, Good’s wife also was recording the encounter and can be seen walking around the vehicle and approaching the officer. A series of exchanges occurred:
“That’s fine, I’m not mad at you,” Good says as the officer passes by her door. She has one hand on the steering wheel and the other outside the open driver side window.
“U.S. citizen, former f—ing veteran,” says her wife, standing outside the passenger side of the SUV holding up her phone. “You wanna come at us, you wanna come at us, I say go get yourself some lunch big boy.”
Other officers are approaching the driver’s side of the car at about the same time and one says: “Get out of the car, get out of the f—ing car.” Ross is now at the front driver side of the vehicle. Good reverses briefly, then turns the steering wheel toward the passenger side as she drives ahead and Ross opens fire.
The camera becomes unsteady and points toward the sky and then returns to the street view showing Good’s SUV careening away.
“F—ing b—,” someone at the scene says.
A crashing sound is heard as Good’s vehicle smashes into others parked on the street [Rebecca Santana, Tim Sullivan, and Giovanna Dell’Orto, “New Video of Fatal Minnesota ICE Shooting, from Officer’s Perspective, Brings Fresh Scrutiny,” AP, 2026.01.09].

Ross circled the vehicle, putting himself in front of, behind, and again in front of the vehicle. As Ross approaches, Good turns her wheels away from Ross.
ICE agent Jonathan Ross and his boss Secretary Kristi Noem both are putting American lives in danger. Ross and Noem both should be fired for their incompetence.
This interested party has been scouring the old blogs like Madville Time, Decorum Forum and South DaCola for discussions about Mrs. Noem’s descent in Hell. There’s a pile out there, for sure.
Noem rises to the level of incompetence one expects from Donald Trump’s administration. In fact she far exceeds expectations for bellicose bumbling in conconcting fake fascist news. And that ICE agent is also in line for the Barney Fife Award for Excellence in Incompetent Law Enforcement. You are correct. Both should be ushered out of a job.
Kristi is out of her league for sure. The trump will get rid of her when its convenient,
which will be soon. People believe their own eyes and it’s so obvious what happened. The old trump doubling down is wearing thin. When he fires her he can frame things differently.
Minnesota will charge Ross, murder doesn’t go away and they can wait. JD Vance has always been a fiction writer and he’s full of it.
We need to carry whistles and walk to the scene of the ICE horseshit. If you drive you risk weaponization and death so park nearby. You’ll still need a mask and be careful they are using chemical force all the time.
Apparently it was Ross calling Good the effing word as her car rolled ahead with her already dead. Ross is based out of Minneapolis. In his previous escapade there wasnot a thing stopping him from dropping off the car before it sped away.
Here is an interesting tidbit if this case ever gets to an appellate court.. Of the judges the felon appointed to appellate courts they have agreed with him in 133-12 cases. He did call them his judges.
