VP Harris Offers Noem Another Website to Promote

Governor Kristi Noem loves promoting websites. So she should jump at Vice-President Kamala Harris’s suggestion that Noem promote a federal website that helps low-income South Dakotans and other Americans get cheaper Internet:

The American Connectivity Program allows eligible households to reduce their internet service costs by up to $30 a month, or $75 a month on tribal lands.

Vice President Kamala Harris is sending a letter to Gov. Kristi Noem urging her to help accelerate enrollment in the state. The administration has launched GetInternet.gov, a one-stop-shop where Americans can check their eligibility, find a plan that meets their needs, and sign up.

“We need your help to keep that progress going and to ensure all eligible families in South Dakota sign up to save,” Harris writes in the letter to Noem. “Please help lower costs for more families by spreading the word in your state and by entering data-matching agreements to drive enrollment in your state” [Megan Feighery, “Vice President Urges Noem to Help SD Residents Gain Access to Affordable Internet Service,” SDPB, 2022.07.21].

Get more people online, get more paying customers for South Dakota Internet providers, bring more federal dollars to South Dakota—sounds like everybody wins! How come Governor Noem didn’t talk about that on Fox last night?

Noem n em want President Joe Biden and his administration to fail so bad they are actively sabotaging their own people just so they can point it out and say, “See what Biden did!”

Governor Kristi needs to get over her loser hero and learn to work as a team with our president. She displays no shame atall when she bad mouths him and sticks her grubby hand out at the same time going, “Gimme, gimme, gimme”.

That is so hilarious that anyone would assume that kn would be helpful to people in need or low income people.

She was on Fox News?? I was watching Liz Chaney, Kinzinger, and the Committee member from Virginia (ex Navy gal) fry Donald Trump and missed the Kristi show. She is always thoroughly scripted on Fox and delivers her talking points in a droning, Midwestern monotone. Not exactly riveting television. She can’t move the needle. She’s fading. Old business.

Yes she is fading Arlo, on our morning walk, my wife won’t let me refer to a neighbors sidewalk Noem by saying Kristi. Although she still let’s me leave the occasional nickel for good luck. Maybe Kristi can raise money that way.

Oh. My. Kristi will have a Kow and six kinds of fits when the mere Vice President dares to address her Holiness and asks Her to help Her peasants. Imagine the effrontery of helping them pesky Injuns get up to $75 off internet services!
