Feds Find Another Insurrectionist Who Fled to South Dakota

Add another criminal traitor to the list of goons who heeded Kristi Noem’s call to Freedom™. Following the December arraignment of Sturgis-via-Seattle Proud Boy recruit James Haffner for participation in the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection, the Department of Justice, a recent North Carolina transplant appeared in federal court in Sioux Falls this week for his participation in crimes against democracy:

Court papers show Billy Knutson was captured on camera climbing through a window of the Capitol….

On his YouTube page, Playboy The Beast, a recent video showcases a yellow South Dakota Proud Boys flag.

Knutson is being charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorder conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.

Knutson’s initial appearance was 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sioux Falls. A federal public defender based in Sioux Falls is representing Knutson, who is released from custody.

…According to his YouTube page, Knutson moved from North Carolina to Rapid City about four months ago [Eric Mayer and Anna Peters, “Man Charged in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack Appears at Sioux Falls Federal Courthouse,” KELO-TV, 2022.01.13].

Knutson’s YouTube videos are disgusting lies and excuses for committing violence and insurrection. I refuse to link them here.

But dang, if the Department of Justice scoops up any more insurrection refugees, they might start cutting into South Dakota’s economic development. Maybe nullificationist legislators Representative Aaron Aylward and Senator Jessica Castleberry need to amend their House Bill 1052 to prohibit state officials from enforcing federal gun laws to also ban enforcement of federal laws against insurrection and disorderly conduct on federal property.

While incidents like the one at Aberdeen Central are hardly uncommon in South Dakota white nationalist incitements have intensified because of Trump’s history of sexual violence, hateful lies and propaganda. South Dakota’s Republican governor spins the hate wheel every day because Republican is not just another word for earth hater; it’s another word for Nazi.

NOem and the rest of the South Dakota republican traitors in the legislator encourage the hatred. What can we expect but the flies to come to a carcass of pus.

The decades long brain drain of educated youth leaving the state is showing it’s fruits with a feckless gov to step it up by importing duds from elsewhere.

Fellas, these seem to be the types of people that Noem urges to come to SD-the ‘Free State’. Along with her genuflections in front of the former POTUS she would love to have a good supply of ‘proud boys’ and ‘oath-keepers’ at her quick disposal locally to give the National Guard some rest.

I see he was released by the Feds of course.

Native people are routinely held in Hughes, Minnehaha and Pennington county jails after their arraignments in federal courts pending trials.

Should have left him in the slammer to stew for awhile. Flight Risk. Jerk

    In a similar vein…..https://www.rawstory.com/proud-boys-in-portland/

Hoe the police molly coddled and protected Proud Boys and other white scumacysts during Portland riots that Noem,
drumpf and other magats tried to blame antifa for.

  7. mike from iowa 2022-01-14 11:36

There are at least 11 magats charged with seditionist conspiracies, so far.,

U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant predicted that the next civil war would be “between patriotism and intelligence on one side, and superstition, ambition, and ignorance on the other.”

Proud boys in South Dakota? Proud of what? I bet it’s the Campanile.

Just drove home this afternoon from Custer.
Yesterday, I was on Boyles Canyon road
    at the Summit Ridge turnoff.
Beautiful sunny day , no wind, 40 degrees.
Just pass the turnoff, there it was.
    Good Lord.
In the middle of our Beautiful Black Hills,
Red, 12” Block letters spray painted vertically on a majestic pine…..
    FJB
It took me 40 min. To scrape the bark clear with my pocket knife.
    Yep.
    They’re here alright.

Nix, that ditty about Biden shows how middle school dangerous these idiots are. They claim to be religious but they even say that in their tax free churches and giggle about how naughty they are for talking code, or tongue. These evangelicals prove, without a doubt, that religion is a fraud, just like they are. Fakey fakey.

Dang that is so sad. I’m glad my dad isn’t here to feel the disappointment and shame in our people. Thank you x 1000, Nix. It was definitely a beautiful day in the Hills.

The insurrection occurred on November 3rd.

Your Overton window to be viewed as sane while holding the position that there was no wide spread fraud is OVER.

Someone twist barb wire down a rabbit hole and dragged out this guy again?

There is reverence and pride welling among those who understand the impetus, history and spirit behind our republic, perverted for decades and built into its present day straw man.

Keep denying this at your own personal economic and social risk.

I’m interested in making repairs and firing poor, weak leaders.

    That’s it.

    That’s the thing.

Community organizing is the probably the third oldest profession, for sure. Representative democracy is flawed but far less repressive than anything white christianic nationalists could concoct. Oh wait.

When you’re on meth everything is about getting more. That’s what South Dakota has become. Her trolling for anarchists to move to my home state are the buzzards coming home to roost in Mrs. Noem’s re-election campaign. Let’s go Kristi!

  18. bearcreekbat 2022-01-17 15:17

Ever notice that commenters claimimg such tripe as “The insurrection occurred on November 3rd,” virtually never cite any credible evidence to support such claims nor identify any actual personal knowledge or experience at even one election site that might support such claims. Instead I typically see silly assertions and insults reminiscient of current Russian propaganda techniques, such as “. . . a shameless willingness to disseminate partial truths or outright fictions,” which is “rapid, continuous, and repetitive, and . . . lacks commitment to consistency.”

    https://www.rand.org/pubs/perspectives/PE198.html

The useful idiots willing to spread this stuff have great confidence in their personal intuitive ability to evaluate the election without any access to the evidence, which they apparently believe makes them much smarter than the 60 or so Judges that actually looked at all the evidence presented by the Trump/Republican lawyers before concluding such claims are simply unsupported bogus whining, as well as the myriad of nonpartisan election officials examining and re-examining the evidence. Such personal confidence is the perfect catalyst to becoming a useful tool of intentional liars attempting to spread harmful propaganda.

Well..I took another long look at the Insurrection on 1-6-21. The rage and the persistence of the rioters left me with one conclusion…Meth….fueled by Meth…had to be Meth and lots of it.

  20. Richard Schriever 2022-01-18 07:32

You’re not a leader – are you John Dale?
Apply simple logic to deduct what else that makes you.
Keep denying this at your own personal economic and social risk.
    That’s it.
    That’s the thing.

Noem offers sanctity and solace to the treasonous.
