Good help is hard to keep in South Dakota. Exhibit 1: Governor Kristi Noem’s inner circle, which continues its job churn with the departure of Maggie Seidel, the Beltway bomber Noem brought in Christmas before last to peddle her propaganda. Evidently a salary of $143,182.50 makes living in Pierre and antagonizing the South Dakota press with her boss’s lies worth one’s while for not quite 15 months.
One test of Governor Noem’s claim that South Dakota is “Open for Business™” will be whether Seidel‘s new “incredible opportunity” involves sticking around to open a business in South Dakota.
well…I doubt it. This young lady is moving on down the pike….there’s a lot of opportunity out there for Republicans who work within the ranks. Your comments about the various costs of living in Pierre are appreciated.Ms. Seidel has it in her rear view mirror.
It was a bad day when she arrived and a much better one as she accepts “another incredible opportunity”. Adios.
