Kloucek Recommends Cannabis Advocate Mentele as Nelson’s District 19 Replacement

Given the Lederman/Republican establishment’s unbridled antipathy toward Senate quitter Stace Nelson, there’s more chance they’d take the recommendation of former Democratic Frank Kloucek for a District 19 Legislative replacement.

And whom does our man Kloucek recommend? Perennial pot petitioner Melissa Mentele:

Dear Governor Noem:

I ask your consideration and appointment of Melissa Mentele to the open District 19 Senate seat.

Melissa Mentele has all the qualities needed to be an outstanding senator for District 19. She is honest, well known and respected, has no prior involvement in either the Gear Up or EB 5 Fiascos, has no conflict of interest issues concerning legislative audits, is a strong supporter of family farm agriculture and small business, and is in tune with issues affecting  pocket books of every South Dakota. Governor Noem once again I ask you to appoint Melissa Mentele to the District 19 Senate seat recently vacated by Stace Nelson. Her integrity and bipartisanship will serve our area and South Dakota well as a State Senator.

Sincerely,

Frank J Kloucek [open letter to Governor Noem, 2019.11.24]

Interest in public service, good understanding of the political process, keen interest in protecting our right to petition the government… why not? Come on, Kristi—you could use a little bipartisan burnish on your record right now. Appointing a woman with different views from yours on hemp and cannabis policy would certainly get you some attention and start some conversations. Since that is now the overriding goal of your administration,  Mentele is you logical choice. Senator Mentele, welcome to Pierre!

Outstanding choice! Well done Sen. Kloucek. What do you say Ms. Mentele? Are you in?

  2. Porter Lansing 2019-11-25 19:01

Hear, hear. Appoint Melissa. We’re on it!

  3. grudznick 2019-11-25 19:25

Mr. Kloucek is the only fellow even less effective in the legislatures than Mr. Nelson was. Both were immensely entertaining. I highly encourage Ms. Mentele to run, in that most dysfunctional of all districts, #19.

  4. Frank Kloucek 2019-11-25 22:12

May the Lord have mercy on your soul for all the mis truths you tell Mr. Grudznick. There is a saying that if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem G man you are part of the problem. District 19 and the entire state are gerrymandered to equate an 80 20 political split by making a few Democrat Districts strongly for Democrat candidates and the rest Very Republican. Grudznick I challenge you to find strong democratic candidates and republican candidates like Stace Nelson who could not be bought or pressured into voting against their principals, ethics, morals and legislative district for the greed of the few.

  5. Porter Lansing 2019-11-25 22:22

Grudznick is a gutter, dwelling lobbyist. He’s the one pressuring and bribing corrupt Republicans to vote against what’s best for the people. He’d say and do anything for his pieces of silver.

  6. Debbo 2019-11-26 00:01

What Porter said. And what Sen. Kloucek said.

Don’t worry Frank. Everyone here knows Grudz is just a pathetic little liar trying to feel important. Those of us who don’t ignore him, play with him because he’s a very easy mark. The thing none of us do is believe him or take him seriously.

  7. grudznick 2019-11-26 07:35

There is no “Lord,” Mr. Kloucek. God drowned in a bowl of cereal.

Mentelle understands some aspects of the legislative process, but at the end of the day she doesn’t seem to understand how the legislative process connects to the will of the majority of people in SD.

I suspect Mentele will become frustrated and feel manipulated after a very short time since I’m not sure she’s representing the people of SD as much as she’s representing her own personal agenda (granted, we all have that problem to some extent).

Is it realistic to think that Noem will appoint Mentele? Girl power?

Certain Inflatable Recreational Devices – “With every click of his fingers on a keyboard, Dale increases his repulsiveness.”

Keep talking about me personally instead of addressing the arguments and ideas. That’s a sure way to victory for our side.

“[Your contributions] fill a much needed gap.”

So, hypothetically if I had used marijuana heavily from the age of 18 until the age of 44, my IQ would hypothetically gone from 138 to 146? Maybe I would have been nearly as smart as Einstein?

    Give me a break.

I think nutrition is more of a contributor to health than marijuana use.

There are so many factors that are ignored .. the stress of illegality (cortisol production) being one MAJOR factor.

We can’t even really study this phenomenon since it is a schedule I.

  12. Certain Inflatable Recreational Devices 2019-11-26 18:31

Your IQ might hypothetically have gone from 5 to 7.

  13. grudznick 2019-11-26 19:29

Now, now, Bob. Mr. Dale and I are going to have beverages together one day soon, and an IQ of 7 is perhaps that of a gerbil. Gerbils are not smart enough to have beverages with grudznick. Like you, Mr. Dale is a smart fellow but perhaps just a little socially maladjusted.

  14. Dave Baumeister 2019-11-26 20:14

Is grudznick even a real person? I always figured at most he was a troll, and at least he was one of the more liberal commenters just playing a reactionary to have fun. At any rate, I consider whatever grudznick says to be meaningless, and I ignore him. I suppose if everyone did the same, he would just go away.

  15. grudznick 2019-11-26 20:23

Perceptive, Mr. Baumeister. grudznick figured you to be mostly meaningless, too, except you have a swell hat and that counts for a little.

Be sure the grudznick to which you refer is the same to which others refer, as there are several.

  16. John Dale 2019-11-26 22:03

Certain Inflatable Recreational Devices – cheap shot artist, but an artist nonetheless. :D

I’ve always wondered, does it take a high IQ to be brave?

    grudznick – “socially maladjusted”

Absolutely – being Mr. Super Friendly is just not a skill I developed. On purpose. I was entirely too busy building things.

Let’s meet at the next city council meeting .. I’ll be the one carrying the really big brass balls in my Debbo-approved sack IQ.

Isn’t comedic ability related to IQ?

I wish I had some of that.

  17. Melissa Mentele 2019-11-27 20:40

I have to agree with CIRD, I came to read the comments and wasn’t shocked to find John Dale here grasping for some kind of relevance in his typical repulsive nature. Not shocked that it was from trying to ride my coat tails as usual. John did you want to take credit here for something else you haven’t done? Are you gonna do another podcast & talk about my lack of penis, how you are such a man and the lack of alphas in NASD? Will you be name calling, lying and again talking about my gender? I see you couldn’t help but reference “girl power” in your comment. That has to just burn you that AGAIN a woman did something you couldn’t. Small bit of advice. Do the work and quit talking about me like you know me. You have 0 grasp on any part of my knowledge on any subject. You consistently look like a fool with your comments. I’m still awaiting all those legal and court challenges regarding money we never received on a law that doesn’t exist. Next time you speak on the laws you may want to actually follow up on the law you are citing. They change pretty consistently every Jan-March during the legislative session.

I guess working the past 6 legislative sessions in close communication with our lawmakers gives me a unfair advantage over someone who sits in his house and cyber stalks women who have went to great lengths to sever all communication with him. It’s been years since I have answered any communication from you or your wife. I have you blocked on every platform but you still manage to read my posts in your podcasts and reference our work word for word. There are active laws against that unlike the mythical “out of state money” law you crow about that doesn’t exist. You can reference them in our Codified Laws starting at 22-19A.

    Dear Ms. Mentele;

I seem to have struck a nerve with my latest program wherein I hypothesize about the means by which information systems could have been used to game the system to get cannabis measures on the ballot.

While my analysis was inductive and hypothetical (I stated as much in the segment), something I am completely sure of is that – for the record – I am not your puppet and I have never accepted any money from you.

I am ecstatic to hear you’ve been following PlainsTribune.com .. although, maybe you haven’t been following so closely? Maybe you should give a closer listen?

I invite you on the Spearfish City Limits program (again) to provide some kind of reasonable response. I will still invite you, a public figure and the head of a well known political organization in SD, on the program to present your side of the story. As long as you don’t accept my invitation, you’re only letting a great opportunity go by the wayside to address our truly conservative-yet-progressive content, asking questions and providing analysis about what NASD has done regarding Cannabis in SD (and many other relevant and contemporary issues).

Isn’t threatening legal action on a message forum a little ill advised? Like Voldemort, are you really threatening me for invoking your name, Melissa Mentele, a public figure and leader of a popular political organization? As such, being a public figure, should you not expect to be subjected to very legal criticisms in media (alternative/credible and otherwise)?

Also, why have you blocked my wife and I? We’re both sweet hearts. Is it because you feel threatened by Cannabis Consumers for Liberty? Why? You’re the big swinging pipe in SD. Everybody knows that. What do you have to be afraid of?

My last program was an interview with John McAfee – unfortunately, we didn’t get into his cannabis venture, but I’ll be sure to follow-up with him. A couple of other fantastic interviews you and others should check-out first are Jim Thompson, Jami Lynn, Max Hay, and Leo Zagami. Hopefully soon we’ll have the public figure Melissa Mentele representing New Approach South Dakota (and the issues it advances, which I frequently address on my program) on the show to get into some of the substance of the issues.

I try to make sure the Spearfish City Limits content is unimpeachable and un-infiltrateable. That keeps it more honest, but that type of approach does ruffle the feathers.

I can’t help but notice that you have chosen to threaten legal action against me, to paint yourself as a victim, to paint me as a “woman stalker”, among other things.

My next show is going to be a real doozy.

    Here’s a preview:
    https://sdlegislature.gov/Statutes/Codified_Laws/DisplayStatute.aspx?Type=Statute&Statute=20-11-4

Rather than risking slander to me and my livlihood, why not just embrace Spearfish City Limits and methodologically address our content?

Note – publishing content online on a public forum is like shouting in a public square. Why try to require some people to wear ear plugs?

    Best of luck.

    Sincerely,

    John Dale, Spearfish City Limits

    Mr. Dale,

You give yourself too much credit on the part you play in my thought/actions/life. Please do the podcast and please mention me by name. Please also mention you have been asked repeatedly to stop contacting me, you have been blocked everywhere and continue to use a public platform to degrade and harass me. Please mention your hatred for women and don’t forget to use your special term for us. I believe it was nth wave neoliberal feminists we may use it to start a garage band.

Please make no mistake I am not interested in having any kind of communication with you in the future. I am not interested in being on your radio show. You are welcome to reach out to our attorneys if you have any further requests.

You responded just like I knew you would. Thank you for the holiday edition of the John Dale Gaslighing Show. Typical grandiose narcissism, for someone who does nothing but run his mouth you sure have an inflated ego.

Happy Turkey Day to the rest of you reading the comments! Say an extra prayer today for those who have to spend it with the clown above.

    MM

  20. John Dale 2019-11-28 11:32

I agree – Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, including you, Melissa.

“Neoliberal Nth Wave Feminism” (beyond the right to vote and get equal pay for equal work) seems to generate a net negative for society.

Please keep American men – subjected to this tyranny – in your prayers:

“A study published by the journal JAMA, found that life expectancy in America increased from 1959 to 2014 but that the number plateaued in 2011 and began decreasing in 2014.

The study…found that the decline is mostly among ‘working-age’ Americans, or those ages 25 to 64,” reports Live Science. “In this group, the risk of dying from drug abuse, suicide, hypertension and more than 30 other causes is increasing.

The decline in life expectancy for working aged males has not been recorded in other developed countries and is a ‘distinctly American phenomenon,’ according to study co-author Steven H. Woolf of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine .. CNN’s coverage of the story omitted the crucial point that the decline was being driven by male suicides.”

If you or anyone else would like to contribute to the show, drop me a note. Info at Plains Tribune dot com.

And for you men out there .. keep shouldering the burden. Don’t give-up. America needs you!

    Sincerely,

    John Dale

    Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. Dale.

  22. mike from iowa 2019-11-28 12:09

Why not invite Alex Jones. Between the two of you you could make up all kinds of conspiracy theories and not worry about providing any proof.

  23. John Dale 2019-11-28 12:33

And a personal and heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you, Mr. grudznick!

  24. Debbo 2019-11-28 14:43

Melissa, you’re right about Dale and his women issues. Also his genitalia focus. I won’t speculate on what that’s about. Here on DFP we all know he’s fairly nuts and don’t take what he says seriously. I don’t doubt he’s harassed you, though I’m very sorry you’ve had to endure that. I ignore the cheap shots he keeps tossing at me. He’s just not worth it to me.

Have a good Thanksgiving Melissa, and let the loony Dale sputter in his corner.

  25. John Dale 2019-11-28 16:12

Debbo – you refer often to President Trump’s flatulence and him being some kind of eunuch. Did you forget?

  26. mike from iowa 2019-11-28 17:56

drumpf is a public figure and as such is fair game. Besides, he has earned all the derision he gets and none of it is because he acts like a president. He acts like a spoiled, soiled brat that throws a tantrum on Twitter when you aren’t kissing up to his ego.
