Kristi Noem beat Marty Jackley in the primary in part by running an ad with a woman testifying powerfully to Jackley’s misuse of power as Attorney General to punish her for speaking up against sexual harassment. Now in his bid to replace Jackley as Attorney General, Randy Seiler runs an ad with a woman testifying to his proper use of power to protect her from a sexual predator:
Expect Jason Ravnsborg to respond swiftly with moving video testimony from the angry dad whom he’s helping attack a female police officer.
It could be the only women endorsing Jason Ravnsborg are the female Republican delegates whom he pestered for four years to get their vote at convention. Randy Seiler couldn’t spend the last four years campaigning; he was too busy helping crime victims by doing his job as a prosecutor.
Has Rvnsbrg tried his first case yet? I hope somebody went to watch if he did. Should be interesting.
Rvnsbrg has been watching Judge Judy though, getting pointers and trying to look stern.
That’s a powerful ad, and exactly what an AG is supposed to do, protect the state and its citizens.
Does anyone know Randy’s position on asking the Catholic Church to open it’s records?
Francis, I don’t know it, and I haven’t seen any public comment on that topic. You can contact the campaign and ask, but do you think any candidate with a chance of winning will swing that stick before November 6?
I believe it needs to be done by whomever is elected. Of course with the feds getting involved in some states maybe South Dakota would be better served with the feds doing it instead of the state.
