Patrick Lalley and I took another swing at offering South Dakotans the smartest political radio in the state yesterday. Lalley invited me onto the KSOO airwaves for our regular Tuesday 4 p.m. conversation, this time to discuss the Citizens for Liberty conservative scorecard, the new May/Nelson Conservative Republican Caucus, and the wild tangle accusations of “liberalness” that Shantel Krebs and Dusty Johnson are throwing at each other.
Our portion of the program begins at 34:40:
Lalley says he’ll let me blog on his radio show again next week, Tuesday, Primary Day, at 4 p.m., just four hours before the last polls close in South Dakota. Stay tuned for our last-minute predictions on who wins the primary! (Right now, I say Marty Jackley, Dusty Johnson, and Mark Milbrandt, plus Amendment Y passes somewhere in the 70s.)
No women expected to win SD’s GOP primaries.
That’s pretty much par for the GOP course.
Democratic Women are winning about 75% of the contests they’ve entered, and they’re competing everywhere. The number of GOP women running is much lower and so is their win rate, around 25%. No surprise. GOP seems to become more anti women every election cycle. And women know cycles! 😁
Debbo,
While you are trashing women, can you please trash the UK as well.

Sorry, Debbo. The Democrats have so far fielded only one statewide female candidate, and she has to face down a better-funded, more experienced male contender for attorney general. We also didn’t get any female candidates here in District 3.
I should count up how many women each party has fielded for Legislative races….
