The South Dakota Democratic Party invites volunteers to sign up online to work their building at the South Dakota State Fair, August 29 through September 2 in Huron!
The South Dakota State Fair is a great place for South Dakota Democrats to visit with voters and talk to them about our work to make South Dakota a better place for everyone. As a volunteer, you’ll support our efforts by registering voters, passing out literature, and more. We’re looking forward to packing the booth with volunteers and folks who are interested in getting involved with the #SoDakDems! [SDDP, volunteer pitch, 2019.08.16]
Fellow Dems, I’ll try to get over to visit with you, but I suspect I’ll be pretty busy over at the SD Voice booth circulating the People Power Petition and explaining to our neighbors how ballot measures are vital to democracy and respect for voters.
But if you’re coming to help the Democrats, you can butter two sandwiches with one knife by signing up to circulate the People Power Petition, too! Before you go to the Fair, send me your information via this handy contact page, I’ll get you approved by the Secretary of State (which is one of the absurd bits of bureaucracy the People Power Petition woudl repeal!), and I’ll send you all the petitions, circulator handouts, and residency affidavits (again, more paperwork for us to repeal!) you need to collect signatures and make a difference for democracy!
