If the Highlight of Your Week Is the Approval of Others…

The White House needs a self-esteem boost:

We can all pick our polls:

CAH and running mate, 2019
Running hard, thank you!

The only difference is that when I say I’m working hard, I’m not lying.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

You knew it had to be a Rasmussen poll that shows high approval for Drumpf. The other polls, based in reality have approval numbers similar to absolute zero for the absolute orange zero in the kremlin annex.

As long as we are throwing percentages out here, why don’t we discuss another percentage that is not a poll, but is relevant.
By its own documentation the White House says that Trump spends as much as 60% of his time in “unstructured executive time”.
I really don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

With the mangled apricot’s reputation, no time is good time for him or others. Ivanka swears there was no collusion between her Drumpf daddy and the people that approved her security clearance. If you believe that, you would believe he has a 50% approval rating.

Mr. CIRD, I do believe you are wrong, as I know many who approve of grudznick. I think you are just trying to be mean and intentionally hurt my feeling, which you did. I am sad.

No one approves of grudznick. When you’re Jeremiah Murphy, some do.

Indeed, but my good friend Bob sent me some early Valentines chocolates and a sampler box from a brewery in his town of Hot Springs, Mr. CIRD, so I’m much better now.

I talked to Bob, last week. He compared you to a common spittoon into which he will place an expectoration of massive proportions.

In keeping with the topic of this thread, the topic of the week for me was Matt Whitaker, Acting Attorney General of the United States, appearance before the Congressional Judiciary Committee investigating Trump.
Whitatker did the typical twist and turns to avoid answering questions. I watched the entire clown show and was dismayed that these republicans lie and dismiss questions so easily.
As expected, Democrats asked the only questions with any depth, republicans completely avoided asking any questions about Trump.

    I like your dog, Cory!

As Porter points out you are actually being generous according to Nate Silverman who averages all the polls. However he also places Trump higher in approval rating than most of the last few Presidents at this same point in time if you dare read a bit more and consider the deeper meaning. Around here probably not!!!

I think Happy needs new glasses. Going back to Harry Truman, the only Potus Drumpf is ahead of at this point in his illegal reign of terror is Ronnie Raygun. 40.2% – 35.3%.

  16. mike from iowa

Drumpf is far and away the biggest liar and crook ever in the kremlin annex.

Well pardon me, so he’s close to Ford, Reagan, and Carter. Considering how horrible he is his numbers aren’t bad. He could easily beat Elizebeth Warren. Nobody likes her.

  18. Thanks, Jenny! Come visit—my dog will likely like you. His approval polls skew high.

“Considering how horrible he is his numbers aren’t bad.”

Now that’s funny HC. Good one.

Be careful what you wish for, HC. noun

“a world that increasingly belongs to the few”
synonyms: a small number, a handful, a sprinkling, one or two, a couple, two or three; not many, hardly any

The last few Potii beat drumpf like a rented mule in popularity.

Happy, for someone who jumps all over others for not being specific, or leaving out some nuance in an augment, you jump to the overgeneralization pretty quickly that “nobody” likes Sen. Warren. I like her — more importantly, I like what she stands for and the point-of-view she advocates for. I am not alone.

I was doing that for fun, but she’s another Bernie Sanders. I told Cory get behind Hillary before it’s too late but nobody ever listens.

  23. Porter Lansing

Granted, I know a disproportionate number of people in MN, but Amy’s campaign page is quite active among my friends.

  24. 50% of respondents to the Rasmussen poll need to consider how horrible Trump is. Seriously, people, consider his horribleness, far more real and impactful that the horribleness you imagine in the multiple bogeymen and bogeywomen that Trump constantly raises to distract from reality.
