Statewide Candidates Drive Hard for Local Fundraisers

Democrats campaigned up and down East River yesterday. Five statewide candidates—Randy Seiler, Alexandra Frederick, Wayne Frederick, Aaron Matson, and Michelle Lavallee—spoke at the Brown County Democratic Party picnic in Aberdeen at 1 p.m. They then raced down the Tom Daschle Freedom Highway and I-29 to join Tim Bjorkman and the District 8 Democratic Legislative slate at the Moody County Democrats’ fundraising cookout at Jim and Susan Thompson’s house:

See, Democrats? When you fill every ballot slot, you have a lot more statewide candidates to come help your local team campaign. And they won’t make you pay $5,000 just to pose with a serial sex offender. Keep it up, Dems!

It was a great time, and we raised a lot of money for the Moody and Lake County Dems, which will in turn go to help our District 8 candidates. The food was pretty darn good, too!

From what I have seen, the Democratic statewide candidates are waaaaaay smarter than their SDGOP opponents.

How did SD get so lucky?
