The greatest President of the 21st century, Barack Obama, endorsed 81 Democratic candidates on Twitter this morning.
Today I’m proud to endorse such a wide and impressive array of Democratic candidates – leaders as diverse, patriotic, and big-hearted as the America they’re running to represent: pic.twitter.com/gWzalQhFas

Obama has not endorsed any South Dakota candidates yet, but he did endorse a Sutton—former Congresswoman Betty Sutton, the Democrat running for lieutenant governor in Ohio, as well as her running mate, Richard Cordray, former Ohio attorney general and the first director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Obama endorsed four other gubernatorial candidates today: Gavin Newsom in California, Jared Polis in Colorado, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, and J.B. Pritzker in Illinois.
This first wave of endorsements includes forty candidates for state legislature in ten states. First wave… state legislatures? President Obama, let me know what your criteria are for getting in the second wave, and I will welcome your endorsement in South Dakota’s District 3 Senate race! I’ll even set aside one of my public fora at the K.O. Lee Public Library so you can make a speech!
Oh Boy. . . That should help. . . Maybe Obama should have come to the state to show his support. . . Aww, he’s at a “Hate Whitey” concert. . .
It’s great to see all the political types, and even those that were only nominally political, Democrats and Republicans, coming forward as patriotic citizens to save this nation from Tangerine Wankmaggot and the Russpublicans. We believe in democracy and the autonomy of the United States of America.
One reason not to vote for Sutton
Sam, here is a big reason not to vote NOem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YITk9FkAVHo&feature=em-uploademail I think even you can get the picture.
The Week has an article about races looking surprisingly blue, and mentions Billie Sutton. “Democrat Billie Sutton is narrowly trailing Rep. Kristi Noem (R-S.D.), even though the state hasn’t elected a liberal governor since 1974.”
Regardless of who wins, there still won’t be a liberal governor, but Sen. Sutton will be a marked improvement over Daugard and Noem.
Debbo, do you ever think it is odd that you support someone who does not share the same values, beliefs or socialist views as you if only because they are wearing the right label?
In the end, even I like Sutton more than Noem. He’s a democrat in name only.
OS, you misassume a lot about Debbo’s and Billie’s values.
Sure sage. . .
