Patrick Lalley gave KSOO listeners another healthy dose of South Dakota’s best political blogging yesterday, as he invited me onto the glorious Sioux Falls airwaves to talk about Sioux Falls Unite, the campaign collaboration of Democratic Legislative candidates in the Minnehaha/Lincoln metro area. We also mused about the unprovenanced push poll that has polluted some South Dakotans’ earwaves this week with tricky questions about Democratic gubernatorial candidate Billie Sutton.

Queen Kristie and her Team are ruthless. They know very well they have a huge advantage and proceed to questionable polling tactics. It’s too bad she can’t be taken down from her throne and put in her place, but SD is in love with pretty Pubs in cowboy boots and hoop earrings. No utterance at all about the 2000 babies and children that are in detainee camps. For someone that is supposed to be pro-life and family values, she could have spoken out against it but when it’s so incredibly easy to be SDs Queen, why speak again it?

Ocasio proved that the Dems whining about people picking on them is a losing platform. All it takes is a good solid platform and the ability to stop letting other parties control your message.
Bjorkman should take some lessons and get a real platform and Dems in general should take lessons from Ocasio and stop whining about Republicans.
No unproven candidate gets corporate money so it’s pretty much a ridiculous point. He will spend 2 years as a Dem pimping himself and the law on K street if he makes it that far . So to say he will never take corporate money is ridiculous.
Take away the I’m the anti Republican and they are picking on me , the Dems have no platform.
Ocasio had a solid platform even though I don’t totally agree with it , she actually ran a campaign that was substance , she never whined about the Republicans, or the Dems running smear campaigns and it was what America needs.
Get a real platform .
Victim posture when trying to become a leader is so unattractive- It means you are weak and have nothing to you . I want a leader who knows how to act instead of snivel about what the other party is doing.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won a primary. Tim Bjorkman is in an election. What do you suggest a “real platform” has for planks? Whining? You must have examples of “whining”. Love to see them. We’ll see in November but I predict your crystal ball is faulty.
There is a bizarre commercial about Kristi in which she claims “when you can ride a horse and shoot a gun what else do you need in South Dakota?” I’m sure this is just another tearjerker for South Dakotans when it comes to their beloved cowgirl, but if I was on the Sutton team I would take that statement and go with it. It Screams arrogance.
Billy needs to go play the horsey and gun game too and then get real and speak about South Dakota’s needs and his platform as governor.

See there is the problem Alexandria is the Dem candidate just the same as Bjorkman but,
Alexandria whooped the dickens out of a major Democrat lol ! That is no small feat !
Bjorkman ran against no one – That would be an epic failure if he lost that .
Dems have a very slim gene pool apparently.

I don’t understand how reporting what’s happening constitutes “whining.” I’m not whining; I’m noting that SF Dems are working together (yay!) and that someone backing Noem is already working to slag Sutton (expected, important to know that it’s started, that anti-Sutton forces are taking Sutton seriously enough to start their negative attacks, and warranting a properly vigorous response, not whining).
