CAH on Radio Friday, NSU Forum Next Wednesday!

Senator Al Novstrup hasn’t poked his head out of his hole to update the public on his work in the 2017 Legislature since the March 4 crackerbarrel. But I’m speaking to the public twice in the coming several days about what happened in Pierre this year.

First, I’ll be on The Don Briscoe Show Friday (that’s tomorrow! almost there!) live at 5 p.m. Don and I will talk about some of the big bills that passed and some that didn’t. We’ll be on KSDN AM 930 and streaming live online. After the interview, I’ll be trucking straight over to Progressive Happy Hour at the Ward downtown, so listen in, then come ask me more questions at the Ward!

Then next week Wednesday, April 5, I’m joining political science professor Jon Schaff and lobbyist Julie Johnson for a panel discussion at the next NSU Noon Forum titled, “Elections Have Consequences: November to Now.” Alas, I know of no broadcasters coming, so if you want to see the consequences of putting me on the same stage as the redoubtable Dr. Schaff, you’ll have to come to the Beulah Williams Library on campus at noon!

Mr. Novstrup is no doubt hard at work since he generously dedicated 9 weeks of his life to serving the fine people of Aberdeen and has much to do to catch up in his own life. I expect when he does do another cracker barrel talking he will not proudly tout his accomplishment of being the only of any of the 105 legislatures to introduce and pass a law bill on the very last of the veto days. Well done, Mr. Novstrup, well done indeed.

I look forward to listening to Mr. H on the radio tomorrow over the internet. If I miss it I hope you can put a blue link to a recording of it because others here surely will want to listen too at a later time.

Is Grudz real? Is Grudz really a Novstrup?

  3. Real, yes. Novstrup… well, I doubt it , but I’ll let Grudz explain his lineage. Grudz just looks for buttons to push.
