The way it rained this morning in Brown County, it was doubtful anyone would get out to enjoy their Sunday. But the sun broke out by lunchtime for the Stratford Lions Club car show to double the town’s population… maybe triple.
p.s.: On the way to Stratford, I met some victims of all that mechanical progress:
These smart, able-bodied creatures used to work for a living, contributing with their sweat to the good of society. Now, thanks to technology, all those poor creatures have to do is eat and breed and go to shows. There’s a parable here….
Sweet photos – thanks Cory!
They are great pictures Cory, thanks. I’ve spent some very fun times in Stratford. When I was in college I worked for a wonderful old farmer just southeast of Stratford. One of my best friends still lives nearby, but it’s been a couple years since I visited. Stratford is a lot of fun and a little crazy.
BTW, Stratford has a great bar.
