Do Your Laundry, Sign Petitions: New Approach Collecting Signatures at State Street Laundromat Sunday

Sunday is laundry day… and tomorrow it’s petition day! New Approach South Dakota is bringing its ballot measure petitions for medical cannabis, recreational cannabis, and assisted suicide for the terminally ill to the State Street Laundry here in Aberdeen tomorrow. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, volunteers will take signatures to put any or all of those three measures on South Dakota’s 2018 ballot.

Initiative petitions are due in the Secretary of State’s office in Pierre by November 6. New Approach needs at least 13,871 signatures from registered voters on each petition to put each issue to a public vote.

Do not sign the petitions, people. These petitioners are the sort that would have you buy a bunker from Vivos. A bunker without a laundry room, I might add.

Ah, Grudz, always quick to discourage people from exercising their rights and participating in democracy. That’s a fundamental difference between Grudz and me.

Another difference, Cory, is that grudz is a satirical character, and you are a real person.

They are going to get this on the ballot and it’s going to pass.

    Ignore Grudz , people.

Grudzie’s not allowed to sign petitions. Court orders. But you can. Democracy is like a pet. Both need exercise daily. 🐐
