Donald Trump doesn’t think Twitter can ban him from its property, but he thinks he can ban Corey Lewandowski from his property:
After a GOP donor accused Corey Lewandowski of sexual misconductlate last month, the former top aide and confidant to ex-President Donald Trump didn’t just lose his cushy job leading a pro-Trump super PAC. He was also fenced off socially—quietly blacklisted at several Trump properties and clubs, MAGA events, and private social gatherings, especially if alcohol is served, The Daily Beast has learned [Asawin Suebsaeng and Roger Sollenberger, “Corey Lewandowski in Exile: Banned at Trump Properties,” The Daily Beast, 2021.10.11].
No word yet from Governor Kristi Noem on whether her dissociation from her close acquaintance Corey will extend to banning him from the South Dakota Capitol, the Governor’s mansion, or South Dakota hunting lodges.
lmao, looks like a case of pot meet kettle… still no word really from Lewandowki about any of this. Should get more and more interesting.
Well at least he won’t be banned from using Noem’s TV studio since, if I recall correctly (can’t find the link), her spokesperson apparantly asserted the studio is a public resource available to all and Lewandowski remains a member of the public. SD tax dollars at work.
I thought I would never say this about Donald Trump: At least he has standards when it comes to The Lew. Not so with our snow queen.
He made the mistake of going after a top donor. He’s got to learn from Matt Gaetz and go for the younger ones. Money talks, Trump listens. He needs to get his affairs in order whether that includes the governor who knows, she did tell him to lay off.
She says she told him to lay off. Maybe she copied Marlboro Barbie’s standard reply, “It isn’t helpful”.
Corey Lewandowski, Jason Ravnsborg, and Jon Gruden walk into Foley’s Bar.
Lewandowski asks Ronnie to turn on the Vikings game.
Ravnsborg asks Ronnie to turn on the Packers game.
Jon Gruden asks that Red Sox game be turned on the TV.
The first two ask Gruden why he doesn’t want to watch the Raider’s game.
“I just figured that if you guys weren’t watching football it would be rude of me to.”
from Daily Beast… Despite all of this, Trump has, for the most part, held on to Corey. Various people close to Trump, even those who loathe Lewandowski, predicted that the former aide’s expulsion from MAGAworld may not last long. In private conversations over the last two weeks, the former president left the door open for Lewandowski, with Trump saying he wasn’t sure if every recent allegation sounded credible, according to two people familiar with the situation.
“The [former] president mentioned that with ‘good behavior,’ Corey could be OK,” one of these sources recounted. “Like he was talking about somebody… on parole.”
One vulgar sexual assailant is is plenty at any Trump property; a second only gets in the way of the King.
Worth repeating is Gov. Noem’s limp reply reported by SDPB Radio reporter Lee Strubinger:
“I’ve known him for quite some time,” Noem said. “Obviously he worked on the president’s campaign in 2016 and then … no. Just an acquaintance. Someone we’ve worked with and had friendships with.”
Not much of a censure, huh?
Gov. Noem wasn’t at the Trump Iowa rally yesterday. The plane wouldn’t start? Bad hair day? You’re not welcome here Lewandowski associate? It could be any reason. Who knows?
Well… the way they see it, Corey Lewandowski getting loaded, stalking and molesting a civilian who happens to be a big donor. is a blip on the screen. The Governor has to keep the momentum going to the “next big thing”.Keep smiling, keep moving, get a new list of talking points and talk show phrases, mention Reagan, have photos taken, drop a production onto the internet, and control the press. Lewandowski will have to get therapy or a new prescription or something, and if he calms down, then we’ll talk about bringing him back. It’s a campaign. Nothing is important but getting to the next “big thing”.
