Fast, Easy, Flexible: Kristi Noem?

Really, Kristi Noem? That’s the slogan you want in the window of your campaign headquarters?

Signature Loans? Vote for Kristi now, pay for it later?

To make punchlines worse, next door to Kristi’s cubicle, you can get an appointment for a mattress:

Noem’s Watertown campaign HQ is on 9th Avenue Southeast, Highway 212, in the same strip mall as the Hy-Vee hooch shop. Perhaps Billie Sutton’s poll numbers will be driving Team Noem to increase their patronage of the shop reflected in their window.

Billie was down 20 points in June now up 3 to 5. Looks like Kristi is preparing to sell mattered after Billie wins

There is so much I could say, well, that any of us could say, about a picture which involves easy loans, a mattress by appointment, and a politician, but I will just leave all of that to a greater thought of imagining a politician who once promised to lessen the federal deficit, but over time sold out and enlarged the federal debt with the help of a tax cut bill that primarily benefited the rich, who need no loans, but might be the ones trying to loan you money at an exuberant rate and or sell you a mattress with a firmness which, however, is not lasting while the debt is….

  3. mike from iowa 2018-09-30 07:27

Well, the mattress operation looks shady. Be perfect if the operation to the left had Mister in their moniker.

  4. Dana P 2018-09-30 08:38

    LOL, this is great.

The place she used to have in Rapid City, showed Kristi for Gov signs while at the same time showing “for lease” signs. By the time I made my way back to Rapid and reminded myself to take a photo, the Kristi for Gov signs were gone. Opportunity missed!

  5. kate 2018-09-30 10:32

Before Trump’s fundraiser, Noem’s 41st Street Sioux Falls office was overlooked by a huge orange billboard proclaiming “Orange Is Coming!” It was some unrelated marketing campaign teaser, but it made me laugh every time I drove by.

  6. Debbo 2018-09-30 20:48

    Cheap and trashy.

    That’s all I’m gonna say.

  7. Steve Pearson 2018-10-01 08:50

OMG, all of you are a level of dumb I cannot even fathom. The building owner needs to remove the old signage of “prior” tenants. Not Kristi you morons.

And why don’t you check the data on that recent Sutton/Noem poll. A hack job at the minimum. But alas, you morons will continue your circle jerk via blog site while the State elects Kristi.

  8. jerry 2018-10-01 08:58

    Pot meet kettle, Steve Pearson

  9. OldSarg 2018-10-01 09:05

Give up Steve. You have less chance of enlightening this bunch than the Deep Underground Lab does of catching a neutrino.

  10. Steve Pearson 2018-10-01 09:13

Oh trust me I know there is no chance of enlightening any of them.

  11. mike from iowa 2018-10-01 09:15

Gee, Steve, aka moron of the moroniest, did you notice the ? after the title?

Of course you didn’t and that makes you even more moronic than us morons, moron.

  12. mike from iowa 2018-10-01 09:19

Oh trust me I know there is no chance of enlightening any of them.

Maybe you should post something with verifiable facts associated with it.

Don’t become OldSloppyJoe 2 and throw garbage out there and hope no one bothers to fact check it.

  13. Steve Pearson 2018-10-01 09:22

What facts do you want? If you want the poll information check out my post in the blog post. Regarding the building it is just common sense.

  14. mike from iowa 2018-10-01 09:31

OldSteveandSupersugarcoated- here’s a fact that should make you two and Drumpf prowd. Last year South Dakota’s share of donated organs from opioid deaths was between 20-29%, up from 0-9% in 2016.

Good news for Drumpf is the waiting list for organ donors is shrinking because of his complicity in opioid deaths. Now there is a stat Drumpf and wingnuts can be prowd of.

  15. Steve Pearson 2018-10-01 09:53

OMG, you are delusional. Nut case.

Glad to see that my facts were ignored by you as well. Typical

  16. jerry 2018-10-01 10:38

Steve Pearson, get with the Russian and get paid! Yep, the Russian, and the Widdle Russian need a third amigo or as we say. a pivot man. That sir, has your name on the paytroll!

  17. jerry 2018-10-01 11:05

mfi, bet you didn’t know that Devin Nunes has been a neighbor there in Sibley for a decade, did ya? Yep, we have yet another Russian outfit close to South Dakota.

“There’s nothing particularly strange about a congressman’s family moving. But what is strange is that the family has apparently tried to conceal the move from the public—for more than a decade. As far as I could tell, as of late August, neither Nunes nor the local California press that covers him had ever publicly mentioned that his family dairy is no longer in Tulare.” All of these crooks and liars are the same as the ones we have right here just up the road from Sibley. 166 miles from NOem’s digs to the Nunes place, probably be campaigning for her with Steve King with dialing for dollars.

  18. mike from iowa 2018-10-01 11:16

Jerry, I did not know about it and if I hadn’t been surfing the news outlets, I may never have known.

  19. Cory Allen Heidelberger Post author | 2018-10-01 21:35

Steve, you’re so quick to shout “moron!” at others that you don’t actually pay attention to what people actually say.

Think of it this way: if you pose for a family picture, and you go stand next to your brother, and he’s wearing the classic “I’m with stupid” shirt, then sure, I’d say that your brother needs to change his shirt. But if you stand next to him, and someone takes a picture, you’re the one with the big hand pointing at you and labeling you “stupid.”

Or, if analogies are too complicated and unvulgar for you, Steve, try this explanation: If I’m running a multi-frickin’-million dollar campaign, I don’t settle for some cheap-o building with the previous jerkweed tenant’s crap signage still in the window. I tear that crap out and plaster my building with my frickin’ signs, and maybe with a whole bunch of the lame-o dweeb candidates I have running on the underbelly of my ticket who are counting on my coattails to drag their sorry keesters to within some semblance of striking distance in November, especially when I have to undo local Neal Frickin’ Tapio making my party look like a bunch of Colonel Klinks.

Translation for the civil non-Steve readers: a well-run, well-funded campaign doesn’t allow easily remediable misbranding. We could just read the above photo as funny, but it also shows Team Noem’s laziness and inattention to detail, something that would carry over to her governing, to the detriment of all South Dakota.

If you talked like this more often and didn’t pander to the politically correct crybabies all over this state, you could be governor. Seriously. Be genuine and people will listen.

  21. mike from iowa 2018-10-02 16:26

You didn’t post any facts, Gomer. Check out my post in the blog post. Now there’s some facts in la la land.

  22. Debbo 2018-10-02 20:30

Ryan, so does that mean in your book speaking coarsely and crudely = genuine? Do you feel that any individual making good use of the English language is disingenuous? Therefore, even though Lying Louse average 6-7 lies per day and has a teeny vocabulary, that means he’s genuine?

I’m asking because it seems a very strange standard to base trust on. I find saying what one means, being consistent and backing up one’s words with fitting actions, in addition to genuine honesty, is far more convincing than crude language.

President Obama’s language was not crude or dull, and he’s done quite well for himself. Most financially and socially successful people are fairly well spoken. It’s only the current occupant who stuck around a 3rd or 4th grade level vocabulary with lots of profanity. He’s not doing as well.

Still, if you enjoy that, have fun. 😃

  23. Cory Allen Heidelberger Post author | 2018-10-02 22:13

Ryan, that’s odd: I thought everything I said here was genuine. Do you really think my satire of Steve’s gratuitously coarse language was more honest than everything else I’ve said here? Do you really think I don’t mean the vast body of preceding comments and blog posts?

I joke occasionally, but I generally mean everything I say. I do not pander; I am of the impression that if I try, people will see right through it.

  24. Jason 2018-10-02 22:53

    Cory,

You are talking about window dressing and not substance.

Please name the last President that the US has had that has done more to fulfill his promises he made campaigning than Trump has?

  25. jerry 2018-10-02 23:06

    President Obama

  26. jerry 2018-10-02 23:22

I think the raise in the minimum wage has something to do with it

  27. jerry 2018-10-02 23:24

“SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota has the lowest average hourly wage in the nation, according to a recent study by the Department of Labor.

Workers here make $16.53 per hour in private industry, well below the national average of $21.62.

The wage, from 2008 data, was a little more than half that made by the highest earners — the residents of Washington, D.C., who earn an average of $32.37 an hour. The study places wages in the state behind Minnesota ($23.23 per hour), Nebraska ($19.79) and Iowa ($18.35) and in the company of states such as West Virginia, Arkansas and Mississippi.

For many who study labor and employment in South Dakota, the low numbers are the latest in a trend of low wages.

South Dakota has been at the bottom of wage lists for decades and, despite state initiatives, studies and investment, it remains unmoved.”

  28. Jason 2018-10-02 23:31

    Let’s test your intelligence Jerry.

How does your 2010 study factor in per hour wage of a self-employed farmer?

  29. Debbo 2018-10-02 23:36

Jerry, it’s entertaining trying to follow Jetspeed Jason, isn’t it.

    From
    “Why Sioux Falls Is booming.”
    Directly to
“How does your 2010 study factor in per hour wage of a self-employed farmer?”

It’s as direct as the slug crawls. Like I said, entertaining. 😊

  30. jerry 2018-10-02 23:37

How many self employed farmers are there in Sioux Falls? How many acres are under till in metro Sioux Falls, South Dakota? Now, how many are there in your home town of Moscow, Russia?

  31. jerry 2018-10-02 23:37

    Russian Roulette with blanks.

  32. Jason 2018-10-02 23:39

So your study was just Sioux Falls?

I’m pretty sure your post said the study was about South Dakota, not Sioux Falls.

Still waiting for an answer to my question.

  33. Jason 2018-10-02 23:40

    Debbo,

He brought up a South Dakota study, not a Sioux Falls study.

    Can you comprehend that?

  34. jerry 2018-10-02 23:43

    click click

  35. Debbo 2018-10-02 23:52

    Yup. Entertaining. 😆😆😆

  36. Ryan 2018-10-03 08:14

Cory, my comment was not meant to take away from your genuine beliefs in other things you said. I suppose the “genuine” i meant is more about the expression, the passion. You see these morons running around ruining this great state with their greed and incompetence, and you are right to get worked up and have a little fire in your belly. Pandering was probably an unfair word, but I think you try to sugarcoat some things that are worth nailing home with colorful language. If you ask people to read between the lines, you miss half of the population with your message.

Debbo, you are exhausting in your ignorance. Seriously. Can anybody stand you in person?

  37. Debbo 2018-10-03 11:49

    No answer. Got it. ✅✔️☑️

  38. Ryan 2018-10-03 14:21

Nope, because your questions were stupid.

  39. Debbo 2018-10-03 15:52

Let it go Ryan. Time to move on. Stalk someone else, or better yet, no one.

  40. Ryan 2018-10-03 15:58

Debbo, irrational people like you are holding back the rest of the female population. And yes, I am completely serious. You should do women everywhere a favor and identify as a different gender.

  41. Debbo 2018-10-03 16:09

    Buh-bye. 🖐 😃

  42. jerry 2018-10-03 18:27

Ryan, we don’t know your gender, so give it a break. Ms. Debbo is not holding back anyone and I wonder why you insist on belittling her. I think that it is you who are holding back the female gender.

  43. jerry 2018-10-03 18:33

    God has a request.

“The nation’s largest coalition of Christian churches on Wednesday called for the withdrawal of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for the Supreme Court.

The National Council of Churches, which has membership from more than 40 denominations including most major Protestant and Eastern Orthodox denominations in the U.S., wrote in a statement on their website that they believe Kavanaugh has “disqualified himself from this lifetime appointment and must step aside immediately.” https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/409775-national-council-of-churches-calls-for-kavanaughs-nomination-to

Have not heard yet from the Jewish organizations on this nor from the Islamic organizations in the United States, but the Christian’s don’t want anything to do with this abuser.

  44. jerry 2018-10-03 18:37

NOem does not want you to see this because it shows how she is implicated in providing cover instead of being a patriot. “FRONTLINE goes inside President Trump’s fight against the investigation of his campaign and whether he obstructed justice. With the threat of impeachment growing, this two-hour documentary from filmmaker Michael Kirk and his team traces Trump’s unprecedented war against the special counsel, the FBI, and even his own attorney general.” https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/trumps-showdown/?utm_source=Twitter&utm_content=Second_Screen

  45. OldSarg 2018-10-03 18:45

jerry, you really hate women in power don’t you. It’s like you go over the top just because she is a woman of power in the House of Representatives and soon to be our next Governor. You make up stuff about Re Noem just so a man can beat her so you wanting a man to beat a woman is a bit over the top.

  46. mike from iowa 2018-10-03 18:55

OldSlurrystore, what/who you gonna lie about today?

  47. jerry 2018-10-03 18:57

Russian, I see by your keys you’re in the bag again..Stay away from those potato squeezing’s.
