Petter Brings Two Wolves to Sioux Falls Sportsmen’s Show

Terri Petter is still making money on captive wolves. KIKN Radio finds Petter at the Sportsmen’s Show in Sioux Falls this weekend showing a dwarf raccoon and two adult wolves:

Petter briefly displayed wolves at a failed venture in Deadwood in 2015. She blamed the local press, the Deadwood city council, and South Dakota state government for killing her business, so it’s surprising she’d bother to come back to South Dakota.

Last September, a Minnesota judge ordered Petter to reduce her wolf pack to one. Petter told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune then that she would not give up her animals.

They prefer to be called “little raccoons.”
Your cultural appropriation and insensitivity is masked only by your speciesism.
And remember to wash your food.

Petter refuses to give up her animals, but….

“Fur-Ever Wild pelts the gray wolves and other animals to profit from their skin, skulls, teeth, bones, and other parts sold on-site at the facility’s gift shop and off-site events,” the complaint states. “As Ms. Petter admitted in a deposition related to another lawsuit: ‘I pelted two wolves last night. . . . And there is another two going tonight . . . There will be 25 within the next three weeks.’”
