Noem Nowhere in National Poll for 2024 GOP Primary

Part-time Governor Kristi Noem is ignoring South Dakota’s interests in favor of campaigning coast-to-coast for cash and celebrity. But she can’t even do that right. The latest Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll shows that after two years of criss-crossing the country and blanketing the national airwaves with taxpayer-funded marketing and live shots on Fox from her taxpayer-funded private video studio, constantly campaigning Kristi has failed to make herself more than a statistical error in the 2024 GOP Presidential primary:

When Noem pops up at all in responses, Noem has stuck around 1% or 2%. That’s not much return on investment for all that travel. When Kristi gets back from the East Coast, she needs a long sit in the sauna to figure why her national campaign isn’t getting traction against such a weak GOP field.

  1. Why Trump would gladly pick her for VP Cory. He hates Pence, doesn’t like either DeSantis or Cruz. Rubio is a nervous Nelly. Nicky Halley blew it awhile back by distancing herself from the great one and Kristi put him on Mt. Rushmore. That’s what puts her over Scott who could be picked to own the libs. She’s conning the great conner and it hasn’t blow up yet.

  2. The Republican Party is a criminal enterprise and the Iowa Caucuses are practical jokes heaped in manure spreaders of buffoonery.

Mike Pence is as scary as anybody on those lists. Liz Cheney has been in New Hampshire and unless she’s taken out by the extreme white wing for exposing that party’s figurehead as the fraud he is she’ll emerge from the rubble and start talking like she wants to build it back better.

What a laugh the Queen/America’s/Bully/Fancy Pant/donkey acting inept South Dakota Governor is just a “Other” to the rest of the United States. 45 will ignore the likes of her as he prizes meatier dollied up twats for entertainment; he is old needing lots of stimulus.

By the summer she could add “Who That?” or by November a “What’s That?” to her acquired title of “Other”.

A benefit she will enjoy is to be announced as former (pick a title) when she carries a flag into the arena on a horse or the back of a pickup.

Her self proclaimed bright light is frizzing. This time next year she could be back to her subsidized ag operations with her unemployed brood asking Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann for tips on how be relevant.

RST Tribal Member says it with just the right amount of zest. “Other” is the right nickname for Noem.

republicans love her here, according to a recent poll. Don’t like her for her corruption on marijuana and kind of get squeamish about the corruption with her daughter along with her frivolous spending.

I didn’t see anything in the poll about abortion. The Hag and the Nag are both into the denying of women’s equal rights, so they’re both two balls in the sack. An Independent/Democrat could actually win the thing by winning those two arguments. Fund raising would be a whole lot easier as well. These two items will bring a lot of voters to the voting booth. Taking away the results of an election or precedent, tend to piss people off

  6. Although my first choice in 2020 was Al Franken Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) had this columnist’s early primary endorsement to be our party’s nominee for President of the United States. Sen. Klobuchar and this interested party follow each other on twitter. But after it was revealed Klobuchar had wrongfully prosecuted Myon Burrell when she was Hennepin County’s top prosecutor her aspirations to hold higher office evaporated. Last year Minnesota commuted Burrell’s sentence.

Sen. Klobuchar is polling well again.

  7. RST’s scenario sounds plausible: Noem looks good but sounds dull on the stop. The poll above shows that she lacks the power to generate real voter excitement. Maybe her coast-to-coast campaigning really is just about racking up cash to bolster her weakness as a candidate and prevent her from losing the governor’s race in 2022.

But Mark gets me thinking: maybe Noem’s long game is to remain in the second tier, do not make it look like she threatens Trump’s return in 2024, and does put her self in a safe position to be his beauty queen subordinate in 2024. Trump would pick her for luxe, but expect her never to outshine him on the stump or generate any excitement other than what he tells his followers to be excited about. If she can be the lipstick on the trump pig that puts the fascist back in office in 2025, then she can ride along for four years and then be the logical nominee for the GOP in 2028, a position she can’t earn on her own because she’s such a bad candidate on her own meager merits.

That ugly T word pops up again. This time in RST Tribal Member’s post. Not normally used in polite societies.

  9. DaveFN

Trump can’t do anything without his sychophants. Pence was number one up until the insurrection. Noem has yet to disqualify herself.

  10. O

Jerry, I disagree about the abortion issue: “baby killer” has been a very effective takedown of many GOP opponents. I’m not sure there is any winning of the argument while that is being hurled at a candidate around here (and the rest of red America).

  11. You know Larry that Klobuchar dumped early on Franken. That was pure bull.

  12. Indeed.

Honestly? At this moment it is my view we Democrats have lousy choices so far in ‘24 and the midterms seem bleak, too. If I had the power to anoint someone right now and Michelle Obama would just laugh at me Tom Daschle might be my pick.

  13. Arlo Blundt

Larry…noted that Tom Daschle gave a moving eulogy at Bob Doles funeral. Yes, there is another way to do our government business and we need to get back to it.

  14. And AOC would be his running mate.

  15. A Pence/Noem ticket is not impossible.

  16. It’s rather surprising that everyone seems to buy into the anti-Harris bull that is being distributed by the foxies. What did you expect, they did it to Hillary. Don’t you like women?

  17. A President Harris is not impossible before the 2024 presidential election. She has yet to prove she has the fire in her belly.

Hey, Mike from Iowa, take your pick:
    twat a noun. VULGAR SLANG
    1. a stupid or obnoxious person.
    2. a woman’s genitals.

The inbred Republicans in south dakota run strong with stupidity traits. Cannot govern, nepotism, don’t know what to do with a killer in their mist, drunkenness, freeloaders, cronyism and have evolved multi tier economic statuses to separate the obnoxious rich from the don’t know their are poor poor.

45, on the other hand, is what he is and boosts what he grabs, even in polite societies.

There is no population of people that is not inbred from some point of time, and that includes Native Americans. Best to factor inbreeding out of your arguments for credibility’s sake.

  20. jerry

Planned Parenthood makes me feel confident that abortion, with this court case, will be a real issue right here in South Dakota. https://feminist.org/news/planned-parenthood-reaches-settlement-with-south-dakota/

I remember outside the federal courthouse in Rapid City, the large groups of people protesting. Who knows for sure, unless you see it in person, to get the feel of the crowd that includes your daughter.

  21. RST Tribal Member

For goodness sake, give me a break DaveFN, the “inbred” reference is to thoughts and behaviors germaine to the closed mindednesses oppositional beliefs, lack of originality, casual misrepresentation of mores and morals of a certain named group of inept nitwits namely the Republican leadership in and from South Dakota. And, maybe other like peoples. The reference to inbred Republicans made in comments is far from close biological relatives conjugation or mating or reproducing combining like DNA or genes that might lead to people of limited capacities in brain or body.

Yes, Native people can be as stupid as non-Natives probably from assimilated colonization of pure thoughts and behaviors either pounded out of them in a boarding school or being offered shiny trinkets for personal enrichment. It is known brains, hearts and souls can be appropriated by means of force, tricky, education, religion, lack of education, finance… the list can go on and on; you get the point?

Should you, DaveFN, or others liked minded be offended by the reference to “inbred Republicans” try putting your left hand over your left eye to maybe only see the word Republicans. Or just skip over comments made by RST Tribal Member as credibility isn’t the point or maybe it is when commenting about inbred Republicans.

Frame your own term “imbred” however you want, it’s a low-level slur no less and degrades your credibility whenever and as soon as you make it. Try putting your own left hand over your left eye.

  23. mike from iowa

Vulgar slang, RST, and that was the point. I was not criticizing you. This is the second time that word has been bandied about and I was hoping beyond hope that the ladies that jump me over comments about Noem would be as ready to defend against vulgar slang. Alas, it must have gone right over the lady’s heads.

  24. WillyNilly

Such terminology does not go over the ladies heads. It’s been heard before and if you are female it has likely been directed at you. In my view, it is a waste of time to attempt educating such users. Most women learn to take names or simply let the user know that they have lost all credibility in any future interactions. As an aside, I watch language online because the choice of words tells a lot about someone’s position and how they think. I sometimes entertain myself by counting the number of negative judgmental words used on Fox.
