One of the first people coronavirus killed in South Dakota was Republican legislator Bob Glanzer. Former legislator Mike Stevens from Yankton almost joined Glanzer on the victim list. Unlike some knucklehead snowflakes in Brookings, Stevens knows coronavirus is no hoax:
I initially thought I had a head cold, sinus infection, and then it just hit me like a ton of bricks, and I ran a temperature for approximately two weeks between 100 and 103, lost ten pounds, couldn’t sleep… every part of my body was aching and in pain…. Finally I ended up in the hospital and was there for four days… had pneumonia [Mike Stevens, transcribed from audio, in Jerry Oster, “Rough Recovery from Covid-19,” WNAX, 2020.09.03].
According to Oster, Stevens was bad enough off that a doctor asked if he wanted a do-not-resuscitate order. Stevens said no, recovered, and has been out of the hospital for five weeks, but he says he still feels tired and his adrenal glands aren’t working right (and you will die much more quickly from adrenal shutdown than from a school or bar shutdown).
Because he doesn’t want anyone else to suffer the way he did, Stevens urges everyone to take patriotic action (including wearing masks, says Oster) to prevent the spread of coronavirus:
Whatever anybody can do in order to prevent someone else [from] getting it to the extent like I’ve had it, and there have been several others I know, you certainly would want to help out your fellow American so that they wouldn’t get it and get it passed on [Stevens, in Oster, 2020.09.03].
That’s the smartest thing I’ve heard a South Dakota Republican say about coronavirus this week. It’s a good thing Stevens survived to say it. Do your part: stay home, and when you can’t stay home, wear your mask.
7,000 college students in Missouri got COVID. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/7000-plus-missouri-college-students-got-covid/ar-BB18IQeI?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=mailsignout
These politicians, regents, and university presidents are willfully stupid, almost criminally negligent.
It’s a hoax.
77 false positive NFL tests.
6% non cormobidity/elder deaths.
Nearly 50% of deaths from nursing homes where corrupt Democrat governors sent sick patients.
PCR tests detect common cold.
People died and got really sick from the common cold before covid 19 was weaponized and released on our population for control and demoralization.
I’ve even heard claims that covid was a Sanford project.
For some reason this seems relevant:

John Dale, spreading your refuted conspiracy theories from post to post does not make them true anew each time.
I realize now what this is about, you Trumpist/Conservative/GOP folks cannot wrap your heads around the FACT that the President you installed is doing a poor, if not criminally negligent job of handling this pandemic. The fact that President Trump is and has been an abject failure is too much for you; so you change the facts to suit your need to personality worship.
It is also a painful reminder that (as with pretty well every element of being President) President Obama did it better. “Perhaps the quiet competence that President Barack Obama’s team had employed with the 2009 flu pandemic and later with the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak had diminished the perceived threat that a simple virus could present.” https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-useful-idiot-book_n_5f4bf594c5b697186e379058
We do not need to be in such a mess; the Trump/Conservative/GOP leadership has made it so.
