Green Aberdeen Meets Tuesday at Easton Castle

Green AberdeenGreen Aberdeen is hosting a general meeting and potluck next week. Billed as “one last hurrah outside before winter” (and remember, even if climate change warms us up, it may also bring more snow and rain to our prairie winters), the Green Aberdeen meeting and potluck begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, at the Easton Castle Campground Forest. (Yes, Aberdeen has a castle and a forest. So there.)

According to Green Aberdeen president Enno Limvere, the event will include “door prizes of upcycled tote bags and t-shirts given away. We will be discussing our upcoming events, updates on our 501(c)3 status, and planning speakers for upcoming future meetings. We will also be touring the Easton Castle.”

Easton Castle is on the west side of Aberdeen, at the end of the gravel on 1210 Second Avenue Northwest.
