Democratic candidates have just two Legislative primaries, and they aren’t generating a lot of campaign finance activity.
Democrats have three candidates vying for two House seats in District 11 in Sioux Falls. In their pre-primary reports, these three Democrats reported total income of less than $2,500 and total spending of less than $1,000:

Like Democrat Stephanie Lynn Marty, Republican District 11 House candidate Tyler Bonynge reports raising and spending nothing on his primary campaign. However, the other three Republicans working for District 11’s House primary vote have raised over $29,000 and spent (as of May 18) over $13,000:

The only other Democratic primary is in District 26A on the Rosebud Reservation, where Alexandra Frederick and Eric Emery are contending for the single House seat. I can’t tell you how much either has spent to win votes in the June 7 primary, because neither Frederick nor Emery appears to have filed a pre-primary report. (Gee, maybe Secretary of State Steve Barnett has decided to make all campaign finance reporting voluntary.)
Eric’s filed. Not sure why it hasn’t turned up yet.
Maybe Alex has the SDDP file her CFR for her 🤷♂️
