Blogging in the Radio Again: Lalley and CAH Discuss Ballot Measures

Somehow I manage not to get kicked off the radio. Patrick Lalley invited me on his KSOO program yesterday for another conversation about the South Dakota Legislature. Starting around 36:30, Lalley expresses his appreciation of Dakota Free Press‘s studious attention to the Legislature, then questions me about bills affecting the initiative and referendum process:

I offer my projection of eight measures making the ballot—four amendments, four initiated laws, but no open primary amendment—and discuss the challenge procedure that Joe Kirby and De Knudson could use to put their rejected open-primary proposal in a ninth slot on the ballot. We even squeeze in a blip on the budget and pay raises for legislators. Listen in and let us know what you think!
