Now that’s more like it: Senator Mike Rounds gives us six days’ notice of a public meeting. Our junior Senator offers coffee and conversation with interested citizens in Faulkton on Thursday, April 20, 10 to 11 a.m., at Muffin Tops, 117 8th Ave, just south of 212, according to Google Maps.
If you don’t think Muffin Tops can handle a rowdy crowd of citizens grilling their Senator about our captainless lurch toward World War III, check out the horde of kindergartners the Faulkton shop hosted on a field trip Thursday:
Get some coffee, get a muffin, and get your Senator on the record in Faulkton Thursday!
4-20 at ‘Muffin Tops’? Interesting.
Was Mud Butte was too busy to host?
Faulkton…..population 744.. appx 3 hours from Sioux Falls……
Another “safe” place for smilin’ Mike.
Is Sioux Falls too intimidating for SDs DC three? Like I said, in a state with a small of population as SD, South Dakotans should be able to find their DC Representatives everywhere and ask them constructive questions. South Dakotans should be able to attend Town Halls at least monthly in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. They choose out of the way small villages as if they’re hiding.
Keep pushing Cory, get a town hall going. Come on, Sioux Falls. Come on, Rapid City. Keep asking.
Rounds at Muffin Tops sounds like a serious Civil War battle no one ever heard of.
