In ruling that the Trump Administration can’t constitutionally revoke visas and deport students who advocate for Palestinian rights, Judge William G. Young also comments on the masks Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Agents wear while trampling the First Amendment:
And there’s the issue of masks. This Court has listened carefully to the reasons given by Öztürk’s captors for masking-up and has heard the same reasons advanced by the defendant Todd Lyons, Acting Director of ICE. It rejects this testimony as disingenuous, squalid and dishonorable. ICE goes masked for a single reason — to terrorize Americans into quiescence. Such is the modern masked goon squad, armed but faceless cowards dispatched by our own government against our proper liberty.

Just say it: radical christianic terrorism. Recall that in response to that citizen resistance in a neighboring state Republican former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem signed a bill that revived the state’s criminal and civil penalties for rioting and incitement so had Donald Trump led his insurrection in South Dakota he would have run afoul of her riot boosting law. False flags, assassinations, disaster capitalism, endless war: anyone who believes America is safer because of a military filled with mercenaries is delusional.
It used to be the Dems would use the “not my President” to indicate Trump not looking out for all of his constituents; Republicans did the same with Obama and Biden. Now, the my/not your President division is really being pushed by MAGA and the President. The government shut down and excuse to stop funding projects in blue states, the targeting of Democratic cities for crackdowns: all are examples of our MAGA/Right/GOP friends telling US that this is not YOUR government.
Moms for Liberty (the most ironic/hypicritical named organization) is telling US, these are not YOUR schools.
The department of education is telling US, these are not YOUR schools/standards.
Immigrants are being told that this is not YOUR country.
Trump and MAGA et al are really leaning into possession being 9/10ths of the law.
