Lesbian Mom Asks TenHaken to Renounce Family Heritage Alliance Endorsement

Also grating Neal Tapio’s cheese is Stacey Burnette, a Sioux Falls woman who (gasp!) married a woman and (gasp!!!) is raising happy, healthy children:

My wife and I have been married for almost 12 years and have two wonderful kids. Our son (age 6) is quite the character. He loves to make people laugh, loves playing the drums and is currently obsessed with Star Wars. Our daughter (age 2) is incredibly kind and fearless. She adores her big brother and keeps us all busy by chasing her around the house laughing. Every night before bed we get the kids together for a big group hug to celebrate the love we all have for our family [Stacey Burnette, letter to the editor, that Sioux Falls paper, 2018.04.25].

Burnette didn’t write this letter in response to Neal Tapio’s rambling and clueless affirmation of his Leave It to Beaver family values fantasy on public radio Monday (though I’m happy to cross-apply). She tells her story to ask Sioux Falls mayoral candidate Paul TenHaken to repudiate the endorsement of the Family Heritage Alliance, which is no ally of her family:

I have been following the mayoral election closely and was very disappointed to hear that you actively sought out and accepted an endorsement from the Family Heritage Alliance. While this group claims to represent Christian values, its only devotion has been to support hate and discrimination against the LGBT, Muslims and people of color in South Dakota.

By accepting the FHA’s support, you are turning your backs on a large population of folks in Sioux Falls who’ve been a target of their legislative bullying in Pierre. With this in mind, I would strongly urge you to publicly decline the Family Heritage Alliance endorsement. There is no place for such discrimination in the mayor’s office [Burnette, 2018.04.25].

Burnette serves on the board of directors of LEAD South Dakota, which has endorsed Jolene Loetscher in the Sioux Falls mayoral race.

Gay parents will only raise gay kids.
Like straight parents only raise straight kids.

    Wait….
    Sec, recalibrating talking points.

  2. Debbo 2018-04-26 20:51

How dare she challenge his hate by being part of a happy, healthy LBTG family.

  3. Ryan 2018-04-27 08:22

Hopefully this request gets some attention so she can get an answer from Paul. Good stuff.

  4. CLCJM 2018-04-27 11:02

Good for her for calling him out! Hope this activates a lot of people who don’t believe in the hatred, racism and bigotry espoused by the Family Heritage Alliance! General rule of thumb, if an organization has the word heritage in its name, do some deep research about its purposes before getting involved!

The TenHaken/Family Heritage Alliance approach to society is a sure way to discourage people from moving to Sioux Falls and to dampen our biggest city’s cultural and economic development. The attraction of our biggest city and its amenities is probably too great for one man to reverse (Sioux Falls would be growing if a boiled egg were mayor), but why put any drag on economic development with religious bias and exclusivity?

  6. Jason 2018-04-27 22:33

    Gee Cory,

I think i would rather live in Sioux Falls instead of the UK.

Alfie, Isaiah, Charlie: The Ill Children Mandated to Die by Hospitals Against Their Parents’ Wishes
The fight for Alfie Evans’ life appears to be at a close as his father, on behalf of the family, signalled that he would be working with the hospital “on a plan that provides our boy with the dignity and comfort he needs” and asked his supporters to return to their everyday lives.
The ill toddler joins a list of other children removed from life support against their parents’ wishes, whose stories have touched the hearts of people around the world and whose fight for their short lives found the support from high-profiled figures such as Pope Francis, Polish President Andrzej Duda, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, and U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

  7. OldSarg 2018-04-28 08:47

“The TenHaken/Family Heritage Alliance approach to society” and what exactly is their “approach” to society Cory? Is it the they are biased against your religion? Could it be because they promote normal relationships? What exactly are you saying?

  8. Jason 2018-04-28 08:56

Does Stacey Burnette endorse Muslim “family values”?

  9. Nick Nemec 2018-04-28 11:17

What are Muslim family values? For that matter what are Christian family values?

  10. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-28 12:50

Does Jason know the meaning of the word ‘plagiarism’?

  11. mike from iowa 2018-04-28 14:10

What are normal relations, OldSalami? I see another upstanding member of the party of family values resigned from congress because of having an affair. That has been normal for phony kristian pols for decades.

  12. Jason 2018-04-29 11:14

    NIck,

Google Muslim stoning and get back to us.

  13. Jason 2018-04-29 11:18

    Rich,

I’ll just ask you. Do you endorse Muslim “family Values”?

  14. Rich 2018-04-29 11:33

Jason is too chicken to call Stacey Burnette. Deflect instead. Seems about right.

Jason, do you endorse the following “family values”?

    Buddhist family values
    Jewish family values
    Sikh family values
    Atheist family values
    Hindu family values
    Shinto family values
    Agnostic family values
    Jim Jones’ family values

  15. Jason 2018-04-29 11:46

    Sorry Rich,

I’m not going to call her because I don’t care and I already know the answer.

I see you won’t answer my question though. It’s seems like your the chicken.

    OS:

    1. I don’t have a religion.
    2. I don’t mind folks criticizing other people’s religions or worldviews. Some religions are inconsistent, oppressive, and/or silly and deserve criticism.
    3. FHA’s problem is that they want to use government (like “liberals”!) to impose their religion on everyone else, in contravention of the First Amendment. (That answers the “approach” question.)
    4. FHA’s additional problem is that they want to use government to impose their definition of “normal” relationships, which, as Mike’s question indicates, is problematic. OS, if you want to have “normal” relations with someone, your abrasive personality might stop you, but I won’t use government to stop you. FHA will, and their endorsement of TenHaken signals he would, too, if given power.
    5. Family values: the relevant point here is that Stacey Burnette values her wife and her family. Burnette makes no indication that she does not question TenHaken’s or FHA’s family values. She and I don’t need to denigrate anyone else’s family values to affirm our own. She just wants TenHaken and FHA to keep government out of her business.

I knew Jason plagiarized the Breitbart article because it was so well written and didn’t include any questions.
Jason doesn’t always include links, he attempted to claim works that weren’t his.
    Jason is a fraud.

  18. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 12:24

Yo Jason, I remember this case because it happened around the time wingnuts and dumbass dubya inserted themselves in the Terry Schiavo case to prevent her from being taken off life support.

Meanwhile, in Texas and under dumbass dubya’s governorship, I believe, the state of Texas allowed hospitals the right to remove certain patients from life support because of the costs involved.

    https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Mother-appeals-ruling-to-take-baby-off-life-1942976.php

Some people just can’t keep their noses out of other peoples business.

  19. jerry 2018-04-29 13:25

Why doesn’t anyone ask tough actin Tenhaken about Medicaid cuts and what that will do to disabled and the elderly in nursing homes? These dudes act all pious and then they support the removal of clergy that speak in favor of the poor and the neglected. Oh, I guess I did ask that. Jason, answer up for your boy.

  20. Jason 2018-04-29 17:25

    Sorry Mike,

Dubya has nothing to do with your link.

You are in the minority in America if you think Government should decided life and death in a medical setting.

You’re just going to have to live with it.

How many of your friends are for death panels? I’m guessing not many.

  23. grudznick 2018-04-29 17:52

Like grudznick said at breakfast this morning at Tallys, once a plagiarist, always a plagiarist.

  24. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 17:57

    Grudz,
How did I miss you at Tally’s this morning? Their Eggs Benedict are supreme.
At least we are on the same page as far as plagiarist go.

  25. grudznick 2018-04-29 18:14

I don’t know, but you are very correct about the Eggs Benedict. I typically have the Meat Lovers, but this morning I had the Eggs Benedict.

  26. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 18:22

Once again Jason swings for a bunt and whiffs. Two dubyas were involved in the Schiavo case. One as a guv, the dumbass one as potus.

  27. Jason 2018-04-29 18:30

    You’re an idiot Mike.

You’re link didn’t have anything to do with Schiavo.

    Let’s discuss that case.

Her legal guardian (her husband) wanted her to die.

For Alfie, his legal guardians (parents) didn’t want him to die.

    Can you see the difference?

I’m betting not since you are an idiot.

  28. Jason 2018-04-29 18:31

    Should say “your link”.

  29. Jason 2018-04-29 18:33

    Roger wrote:

    That’s a lie Roger.

I can guarantee you that you will never find another post I have made on this site where I didn’t include the link to a someone else’s words.

As they say, once a liar, always a liar.

  30. Jason 2018-04-29 18:36

    MIke,

I actually never heard of the case you linked to.

The hospital should have no say in whether to kill someone or not. Are you equating the Gov’t to a hospital?

You’re dumber than than I thought.

  31. Jason 2018-04-29 18:37

    So far,

Roger, Grudz, and MIke are in favor of death panels.

Who else is on this site?

  32. grudznick 2018-04-29 18:42

I’m not sure about my position on death panels, but grudznick is in favor of lesbians.

  33. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 18:47

I actually never heard of the case you linked to.

There are lots of things you don’t know you don’t know. Just because you had never heard of it, means absolutely nothing.

You are back to making it sound like I said something I never said. And you think I’m dumb?

  34. Porter Lansing 2018-04-29 18:48

Jason’s an insulting little vagina. Does that count?

  35. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 18:49

The plagiarist makes wild and unprovable assumptions about mike from iowa, grudz and myself being in favor of death panels.
The fact is, this country has always had death panels, they are called insurance companies and republicans that don’t want the poor to have health coverage.

  36. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 18:50

    “Jason doesn’t always include links.”

    That’s a lie Roger.

I can guarantee you that you will never find another post I have made on this site where I didn’t include the link to a someone else’s words.

Jason lies and then incriminates himself by admitting he didn’t always include links. What a maroon!

  37. Jason 2018-04-29 18:51

I said Dubya has nothing to do with your link.

    MIke said:

“Two dubyas were involved in the Schiavo case”

You’re link wasn’t to the Schiavo case.

Do I have to draw pictures for you Mike?

  38. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 18:52

    Porter
The plagiarist is like Michelle Wolf described Trump last night at the Correspondents Dinner, you can’t grab Trump or the plagiarist by the pussy.

  39. Jason 2018-04-29 18:53

    Porter,

    You ready to discuss science?

But the battery story gets even worse when you take in the recent findings of two scientists at the Rochester Institute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University that expanded battery use may actually increase emissions. The technical journal article that explains this, “Bulk Energy Storage Increases United States Electricity Systems Emissions” in Environmental Science & Technology, is unfortunately behind a paywall, but Dave Roberts—a deep greenie (the founder of what he calls “Climate Hawks”) summarizes the study in plain English for us in “Batteries Have a Dirty Secret” at Vox:

[E]nergy storage has a dirty secret. The way it’s typically used in the US today, it enables more fossil-fueled energy and higher carbon emissions. Emissions are higher today than they would have been if no storage had ever been deployed in the US . . .

Modeling energy mixes and energy prices across the country, Hittinger and Azevedo determine that the deployment of energy storage increases emissions almost everywhere in the US today. Yikes. . .

A 2017 study of storage paired with solar panels at the residential level found much the same result: All things being equal, residential storage increases net energy consumption and net carbon emissions.

Way to go, gang. But by all means keep up the happy talk about how renewables and batteries will save the planet.

    Chaser:

“For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled.”

    – Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard P. Feynman.

    SOP on here.

  41. Jason 2018-04-29 18:55

    Hey Cory,

How many Dem votes do you think the party lost last night over that debacle?

  42. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 18:56

Jason, you are just too damn dumb to be allowed to post here. I never said the Texas case had anything todo with Schiavo. I said it happened around the same time and the people in Texas, hospital and government were working together to take a minority child off life support, while in Florida the stoopid wingnut gov and the stoopid wingnut Congress were trying to intervene to keep a white woman who was comatose for over a decade on a ventilator.Double standard by wingnuts, Jason, who can’t read and/or comprehend.

  43. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 18:59

    Jason,
I needn’t back up anything, you are the one that lied and plagiarized the Breitbart article.

  44. Jason 2018-04-29 19:00

    MIke,

What do you think the words “your link” mean?

Your link had nothing to do with Dubya like you said. He may have been the Gov., but he had nothing to do with it.

The hospital was trying to kill a child, not the government.

  45. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 19:01

I said Dubya has nothing to do with your link.

I’mwriting this in crayon just for your feeble brain, feeble brain.
Dumbass dubya was governor of Texas when the law Texas hospital was using was passed and signed by-ta da.,.dumbass dubya. Do you see the connection or do I need to color it in for you?

  46. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 19:01

    Porter,
Don’t be seduced by the plagiarist trying to hijack this discussion to another of his hobby horses.
It’s time to turn the tables and talk about why TenHaken hates lesbians.

  47. Jason 2018-04-29 19:02

    I proved you lied Roger.

Anyone with a brain knows it. I forgot to post a link and I didn’t do it on purpose.

You chose to lie and you did that on purpose.

You will never win in an intellectual debate with me Roger. That must make you very angry.

  48. mike from iowa 2018-04-29 19:03

Jason, you are a certified MORON! Are you really this stoopid or are you pretending?

  49. Jason 2018-04-29 19:04

    Mike,

What influence did Dubya have on the Hudson baby case?

    Be specific.

  50. Jason 2018-04-29 19:05

    Porter,

What Roger is saying is you aren’t intelligent enough to discuss science with me.

  51. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 19:07

Jason, the only thing you have ever proven is like mike from iowa says, “You are a certified MORON”.
Whatever happened to your challenge to go on the Lalley show and debate Cory? Oh yeah, you made up all kinds of excuses and your fat talk about debating Cory was just that, fat talk from a plagiarist.

  52. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 19:10

    Jason just lied again.
Porter, I did not say, “you aren’t intelligent enough to discuss science with me”.
The lie is in black and white and there is no link to prove I said what Jason thinks I said.
Jason is not only a plagiarist and proven liar, he is a coward as well.

  53. Jason 2018-04-29 19:14

    LOL,

Roger, you have gone off the deep end.

Your intelligence truly shows since you can’t differentiate opinions versus facts.

I’m sorry Roger, God wasn’t very fair and didn’t give some people common sense or intelligence.

He was really evil and gave some people neither.

  54. Jason 2018-04-29 19:15

    Mike,

So you can’t win on the facts, so you go to insults?

That is the SOP with non-intelligent people.

  55. grudznick 2018-04-29 19:21

How do you know I don’t have a bit of Arikara blood in me, Mr. C, and have a claim to South Dakota far before the Sioux? I may have to do one of those little blood spatter tests. I feel a bit of Ree rising up within me.

  56. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 19:21

It really should be a criminal offense to use Jason, intelligence, and common sense in the same sentence.
Your little ignorant prayer to your God isn’t effective, I don’t believe in your God.
Doesn’t your God say it is a sin to lie and plagiarize?

  57. Debbo 2018-04-29 19:46

    Jerry said, “tough actin Tenhaken.”
I see what you did there and it’s really funny!

Porter, please don’t insult vaginas. They are wonderful bits of anatomy.

Now can’t we all just get along and agree that government legal protections should accrue to all 2 person marriages, government has no business controlling a woman’s sexual/reproductive business, and if the GOP really, Really wants government in their bedrooms then let them set up panels applying only to registered members of their political party to enforce laws of sexual behavior they approve of.

    Okay?

  58. Porter Lansing 2018-04-29 21:41

    Okay … I agree. :)

  59. Jason 2018-04-29 22:25

    Poor Porter

    You can’t discuss science.

    It doesn’t surprise me.

  60. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 22:29

Poor Jason wants to discuss science on Cory’s thread that clearly isn’t about science.
How unfortunate for Jason that he can’t concentrate on the topic of the thread and discuss why TenHaken hates lesbians.

  61. Jason 2018-04-29 22:34

Let’s concentrate on you lying Roger.

Please discuss in detail how the Muslim religion treats homosexuality?

Homesexualtty is the topic of this thread.

What is the highest grade you completed Roger?

  62. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 22:41

Be sure you fact check every word Jason writes, he is known to take credit for other authors work.

What is the highest grade you completed, Jason?

Why do you hate homosexuals, Jason?

Why are the stripes on highways painted yellow, Jason?

Let’s discuss in detail why you steal other writers work, Jason?

Why do you fear debating Cory, Jason?

Are you hoping TenHaken beats Jolene, Jason?

Let’s discuss in detail the last time you ate a Snicker’s candy bar.

  63. Porter Lansing 2018-04-29 22:44

For the third time … I won’t discuss anything with you. You don’t have the skills.

  64. Jason 2018-04-29 22:44

    LOL.

Roger is in a complete meltdown.

He got his ass kicked by me.

I do feel sorry he doesn’t have the intelligence to converse with me but it’s not my fault.

  65. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 22:51

    Porter
You have repeatedly demonstrated that Jason doesn’t have the skills do anything beyond copy from Breitbart and try to sell it to us as his own work.

As per usual, when Jason isn’t equipped to discuss a topic that Cory posts he diverts to what he wants to talk about.

This thread was supposed to be about a Lesbian mom calling TenHaken out on his positions.

Jason shifted it to talking about the kid that died in England, when that failed he decided to talk about Muslims by asking ridiculous questions.

Now he continues to want to discuss science on a thread that isn’t about science, and Jason has the idiocy to say that I am in a meltdown.

  66. Jason 2018-04-29 22:57

    Roger,

There is a reason Porter is not responding to my science

He know’s he can’t refute it. I do question why you are talking for him?

I do wait the time you and Porter can refute the science I posted.

  67. Jason 2018-04-29 23:02

    Porter,

You will lose to me every time when is comes to science.

    I feel sorry for you.

  68. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 23:03

I refute that you are Jason.
Why don’t you have respect for Cory’s Dakota Free Press with all your little tantrums and distractions?
Cory works hard to bring us multiple threads almost everyday and most of us respect his work and may even disagree with him at times.
It is disrespectful to hijack his work and make it yours.
If you want to discuss science or your shoe size, start your own damn blog, but I’m certain you aren’t man enough to do it.

  69. Jason 2018-04-29 23:28

    Roger,

You refute that I am Jason?

    You must be really drunk.

  70. Porter Lansing 2018-04-29 23:32

You’re not called Jason when you post on the Catholic blog, are you KM?

  71. Jason 2018-04-29 23:32

    Roger,

    Let’s discuss the 1st amendment.

  72. Jason 2018-04-29 23:36

    Porter,

I have no clue what you are talking about. Are you ready to talk about the post I did link you?

I am guessing not based on your question.

  73. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 23:44

    Jason

When are you going to start your own blog?

  74. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-29 23:48

    Jason

When you start your own blog you can plagiarize all you want and if someone catches you, you can delete their comment.

  75. Porter Lansing 2018-04-30 00:21

He already has one, Rog. But, it’s in Russian.

  76. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-30 00:27

Now that’s funny, Porter. Thanks, I kinda needed that .

  77. Porter Lansing 2018-04-30 01:23

Sioux Falls is full of Russians. They work with Marena Butina.

  78. OldSarg 2018-04-30 06:08

Like 13 year old girls. . Between Roger and Porter there is no real discussion of topics on this site. Cory tries to do a good job of posting stories he thinks will gather attention and you two fools turn it into nasty simpleminded attacks on anyone you find a problem with which, turns out to be everyone else in the world. . . Like little girls.

  79. Porter Lansing 2018-04-30 07:06

Have a good day at work, Old Snooze.

  80. mike from iowa 2018-04-30 07:09

What influence did Dubya have on the Hudson baby case?

    Be specific.

You are one dumb SOB. I am not playing yer little games, Jason. Go home and play with yerself. Oh, you already did that?

  81. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-30 10:55

    OldSarge
Since when have you had respect for anything that Cory has done?
You and Jason need to start your own blog, you can call it ‘Idiot’s Delight’.

  82. Jason 2018-04-30 12:40

    Mike,

Nice internet meltdown. It must suck for you to lose against a person far more intelligent than you but you should handle it like an adult.

  83. mike from iowa 2018-04-30 12:56

Jason the thickheaded Troll, sometimes it is necessary to use a little spice in language trying to batter the way through the sawdust between yer ears.

You , of course, cannot fathom this because of the sawdust between yer ears.

If you are what passes for smart wingnuts, it is no wonder this country is in such disarray.

No I am not going to engage you in a debate. Everyone knows you lose and change the subject or move the goalposts to fit yer phony narrative.

I AM NOT PLAYING YER GAMES! Do you understand that?

  84. Jason 2018-04-30 12:59

    Mike,

I understand you lost the argument you started and then entered meltdown mode.

  85. Roger Cornelius 2018-04-30 13:04

    Good Afternoon, mike from iowa.

  86. mike from iowa 2018-04-30 13:40

Howdy, Roger. I see the troll is moving the goalposts again. Maybe it is time for Sharia justice and remove the hands of the thief. He’s already lost his mind.

  87. Rich 2018-04-30 14:27

    “Sorry Rich,

I’m not going to call her because I don’t care and I already know the answer.

I see you won’t answer my question though. It’s seems like your the chicken.”.

LOL!!! You are quite the chicken…. Won’t accept a challenge to call a person; if you know the answer and you know it’s true, post it. If you don’t post it, then you’re lying. Clearly, you care since you asked the question. Stay focused, please. And learn the difference between your and you’re.

  88. Jason 2018-04-30 17:37

    Rich,

I see you are still scared to answer my question.

  89. Rich 2018-05-02 20:45

Jason, have you called Stacey yet? Nope, didn’t think so.

  90. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-02 20:58

    Rich

Of course Jason didn’t call Stacey
    Jason doesn’t walk his talk.

  91. Jason 2018-05-02 21:35

    Rich,

Have you answered my question yet? Nope, didn’t think so.

  92. Rich 2018-05-02 22:42

Above, you stated this: Does Stacey Burnette endorse Muslim “family values”?

I challenged you: Did you call her and ask that question? Her phone number is on the leadsouthdakota.org website. Call her. https://leadsouthdakota.org/about/board-of-directors/

You deflected with this: Rich, I’ll just ask you. Do you endorse Muslim “family Values”?

I asked if you endorse the family values of other religions. You again deflected: Sorry Rich,
I’m not going to call her because I don’t care and I already know the answer.

Uh huh, you “don’t care” and you “already know the answer”. Sure, you “don’t care”. And you “know the answer”. You keep telling yourself that, KM. I mean Jason.;)

    And Roger is correct.:)

  93. Jason 2018-05-02 22:45

    Rich,

I already know what was posted.

You never answered my question to you.

I’m more interested in your answer than someone who doesn’t post on this board.

Here is your chance Rich to answer my question.

I am going to guess you will not.

  94. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-02 22:58

    Rich
Don’t bother with this Internet Research Agency Troll.

  95. Jason 2018-05-02 22:59

    Roger,

I ask the same question to you.

I bet you will not answer.

  96. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-02 23:00

    Jason

No I won’t answer any of your inane questions, nobody should.

  97. Jason 2018-05-02 23:04

That’s because you aren’t intelligent Roger.

How do you expect people to vote for your party if you can’t answer questions?

  98. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-02 23:44

    Jason

I don’t mind answering questions when they are presented in an intelligent manner, yours never are, which is reflection of your limitations.

Whenever you grow up and want to discuss issues in a intelligent manner, I’ll be glad to accommodate you. Seriously, I don’t expect that to happen anytime soon.

Call Stacey, if you are intelligent enough to do so.

  99. Jason 2018-05-02 23:50

    Roger,

I am smarter than you. That’s a fact.

Do you endorse Muslim “family Values”?

Those family values include stoning women and throwing homosexuals off of buildings.

  100. Jason 2018-05-02 23:57

    Roger,

Please prove anything I said in the above post about Muslims is false?

  101. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 00:02

    Jason

I know red bricks that are smarter and more intelligent than you.

Why do you persist with your childish claim that you are smart and intelligent when that is the furthest thing from the truth.

Scroll up and reread my comment about answering your inane questions.

  102. Jason 2018-05-03 00:09

    Roger,

You just have insults and no answers. That’s why I can call you dumb.

I’m guessing you have an 8th grade education level, maybe high school. What is your highest grade completed?

  103. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 00:13

    Enough with your childishness, Trumptard.

  104. Jason 2018-05-03 00:14

So far, not one Democrat on this board has said female genital mutilation is bad.

    Roger,

I guessed right on your 8th grade education.

  105. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 02:40

Have you seen this Jason/KM? There at least five of the one thousand working the blogs in South Dakota.
“The Kremelbots employ fake accounts registered on major social networks, discussion boards, online newspaper sites, and video hosting services to promote the Kremlin’s interests in attempting to influence the 2018 United States presidential election. More than 1,000 employees work in a single building.”

  106. OldSarg 2018-05-03 06:20

Porter and a Roger caught again telling nasty lies about others. Keep at it Jason. You’re right and they are butt hurt. All they want to do is spew nasty comments and make crap up about others. 13 year old girls.

  107. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 07:27

Old Snooze … Tell me why you should be considered legitimate? Hmmm? You just appeared on the blog one day with no South Dakota background except some shady story about being at Ellsworth. Then you spew hate and lies and follow the Putin Playbook (Get Americans attacking other Americans) to the letter. You give no details about yourself. Claiming to be military is a Russian tactic direct from the ФСБ. Every detail of USA military is known and passed on to Russian agents in year one training. A military cover is the easiest disguise. There are over a thousand FSB that have been banned from Facebook and Twitter and have now moved to political blogs with much less security and vetting. Sound familiar, comrade?

  108. Jason 2018-05-03 07:50

    Porter,

Tell us why you get to decide who is legitimate?

You can’t even dispute my facts and you think you can judge?

  109. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 07:54

I get to decide who I believe is legitimate. So do you. You don’t present facts. You present links from invalid sources that ФСБ gives you as talking points. If you say it in Russian, I’ll comment further.

  110. jason 2018-05-03 08:18

    Porter,

Nobody cares what your opinion is regarding other people.

I debate the facts and you lose every time to the facts..

  111. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 08:30

    Nobody? Really?
Your debate is unsubstantiated. It’s “Russian debate” and it’s as invalid as Russian elections. (i.e.)- When you make an assertion and cite a proven liar and then ask us to “refute” that the lies aren’t true that assertion is automatically invalid.
-When you make an assertion and cite a proven valid source whose honesty and reputation is at stake then and only then is the assertion open for debate.

  112. Jason 2018-05-03 08:34

    Porter,

Do Muslims throw homosexuals off of buildings for being homosexual?

    Yes or no?

  113. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 09:11

Isis does but they’re not really Muslims.

  114. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 09:36

Jason- do they throw every gay person off a building? yes or no

Are there any gay Imans? yes or no

Have Americans thrown any gays off buildings? yes or no

  115. Dicta 2018-05-03 09:46

It’s amazing to me how consistently willing people are to generalize or suss out nuance depending on the topic.

  116. Porter Lansing 2018-05-03 09:53

Jason/Km … It’s 6:00 pm in Moscow and I suppose you’re about half into a bottle of that cheap vodka the gov’t puts out to keep the people warm. Here’s where we’re at on the Free Press.
~ Your country has a history, dating back to Stalin of believing you have the right to interrogate people. But, this is USA and we’re much more freedom loving and liberal. I was congenial enough to go first and answer a question of yours. It’s now your turn to answer a question of mine. No exceptions. I’m formulating a question that will reveal much about you to every reader on the blog. I’ll ask it when I’m ready, so just relax, Jason/KM.

  117. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 10:31

    OldSarge

It is against federal law to claim that you were in the military when you were not.

  118. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 11:23

Dicta gets a nickel for using suss in a sentence. Now go stand in the corner.

  119. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 12:16

Speaking of Stormy, Guiliani and Drumpf admitted Cohen got reimbursed for hush money paid for her silence, after Drumpf has consistently lied about knowing nothing about it all this time.

Screwdy Rudy and Drumpf don’t even brief his spokespeople before hand so they can prepare to lie for him to America.

  120. Jason 2018-05-03 12:43

    Mike,

When gay marriage was voted on in California, it was voted down.

    That’s a fact.

  121. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 12:52

    Breitbart is FAKE NEWS!!

  122. Jason 2018-05-03 12:52

    Roger,

Want to bet your house the story is real?

  123. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 13:32

Gay marriage is legal everywhere in the United States. That is a fact.

  124. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 13:38

    mike from iowa

Gay marriage became legal in California in June 2008, far earlier than most other states.

  125. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 13:38

Banning gay marriage didn’t pass constitutional muster, did it troll? That’s a fact.

Had Mormons not infused California with millions of dollars to fight gay marriage it would have passed back 0n 2008. That is a fact.

Keep living in the past, Troll.

  126. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 13:42

Intelligent people know that Breitbart isn’t a credible news source.

  127. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 13:46

Roger, I believe Prop 8 overturned that law in 2008 and was itself ruled unconstitutional a few years later. You are technically correct on the main point. :)

I believe iowa was ahead of the curve and passed gay marriage law that withstood constitutional muster- a first for the Nation.

As for dead Breitbart story, it was reported only a half dozen women got into the match. They had earlier been able to enjoy men’s sports until the Troll and his Ayatollah buddy rode roughshod over the country.

Geez the Troll is popping up everywhere bad things happen. That’s a fact.

  128. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 14:11

Litigation isn’t winning. The Iowa abortion is certain to head to the Supreme Court.

  129. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 14:13

    mike from iowa

As usual you are correct about Iowa and California gay marriage. I wanted to make the point that gay marriage was legal in California contrary to false information.

  130. OldSarg 2018-05-03 14:56

    Litigation isn’t democracy

  131. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-03 15:13

Litigation isn’t democracy? That’s just dumb.
Constitutional changes have all come about from various court actions, some that were in the courts for years.
Civic and criminal law have all come about by some form litigation.
    Roe vs Wade?

  132. Dicta 2018-05-03 15:48

Litigation has a place in a democracy, but at times it is strongly anti-democratic. Ask one of the millions of people who have been imprisoned and lost the right to vote.

  133. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 16:11

Stoopid wingnuts in iowa wrote the law specifically so it would be argued in the Scotus and with Gosuck making a strong fifth activist rwnj vote, perhaps overturning Roe.

Gosuck is just another of the hundreds of reasons to impeach Drumpf and vote stoopid wingnuts out of power.

  134. mike from iowa 2018-05-03 16:12

Roger, I am with you 100% plus. I did not mean to infer otherwise.

  135. Cory Allen Heidelberger Post author | 2018-05-04 05:35

Personal insults and vulgarity don’t reflect great morality, either.

  136. mike from iowa 2018-05-04 08:01

American evangelicals have encouraged among Christians in Africa.

They have also applauded the death penalty for Homosexuals in Africa. They also approve of Putin’s crackdown on Gays in Russia.

  137. OldSarg 2018-05-04 08:18

Ok, so you are pro open borders so long the person is “of color”, pro killing unborn Americans, hate anyone who calls themselves Christian, support the most criminal attempt to over through a duly elected president, legalizing sex with animals, mine being women, women being men and then to top it off claiming righteousness as an atheist and acting as if you guys give a crap for Muslims, Christians or any religion is no more than Cultural Appreciation on your part.

You have all become a joke. You might as well start playing rap music while wearing Chinese dresses with corn rolls in your hair and eating tacos.

What you should honestly do is make a list of all the crap you guys defend, look in a mirror and read that list to yourselves. Literally you have all become a joke.

  138. Dicta 2018-05-04 08:48

“You have all become a joke. You might as well start playing rap music while wearing Chinese dresses with corn rolls in your hair and eating tacos.”

    Yay for stereotypes.

Not a dem here, but if you could stop talking and making those of us with more conservative beliefs look like morons, it would be appreciated.

  139. mike fom iowa 2018-05-04 19:57

Off topic, but, iowa’s guv signed fetal heartbeat abortion ban bill. The strictest in the nation.

  140. Roger Cornelius 2018-05-04 20:06

    mike from iowa

South Carolina Democrats killed a similar bill last night. The same bill Beatle Bailey was saying was passed.

  141. mike fom iowa 2018-05-04 20:31

    Thanks, Roger.
