Sutton Campaigns in Aberdeen Monday

Sen. Billie Sutton
Sen. Billie Sutton

While Congresswoman Kristi Noem courts big-city donors, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Senator Billie Sutton is touring South Dakota hearing from the regular folks for whom he wants to work. Northeastern South Dakotans get their chance to give Sutton what-for Monday, November 13, here in Aberdeen. Sutton’s gubernatorial campaign will host its next listening tour stop at NSU:

  • When: Monday, November 13, 5:30–6:30 p.m.
  • Where: Northern State University, Johnson Fine Arts Center, Room 117

The Burke Democrat’s visit to Aberdeen is the seventh stop on his statewide listening tour, which started in Sioux Falls on October 2 and proceeded to Brookings, Rapid City, Spearfish, Vermillion, and Mission. Unlike Kristi’s swanky Twin Cities invite-only event, Sutton’s Aberdeen visit is a public forum, not a fundraiser. He won’t turn good money away, he’s more interested in your comments and questions.

Show up and cheer loudly for positive change! If you can, please throw a few bucks in the hat to help Billie deliver his strong message in every county of this state.

I feel better about Sutton than I have past Democrat candidates. But it’s still a long, uphill battle in SD.

He’s starting earlier, working around the state, and working with a reasonably smart campaign team. You have reason to feel better, Chip. Now tell 100 friends to feel better, spread the word, and next year, vote!
