Tapio: Aberdeen Chamber, Development Corporation, and Mayor Collaborate with Muslim Brotherhood

Putative Republican U.S. House candidate Neal Tapio thinks the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, the Aberdeen Development Corporation, and Aberdeen mayor Mike Levsen are collaborating with the Muslim Brotherhood to destroy America.

I kid you not. Tapio roused the rabble at the last Americans First, Task Force public slideshow here in Aberdeen on August 9 with that accusation. Listen at 2:23:30 in this video recently posted by Ken Santema of the event, when Tapio took the floor after Shahram Hadian’s slideshow to lash out at those who defeated his anti-Islam SCR 15 this year and to rally the racists and bigots in the audience to flood the Capitol to support the culture-war bills he promises to bring to the 2018 Session:

The question is, how do we get involved? I’m going to bring in pieces of legislation next time. When I brought in pieces of legislation, the entire crowd was the other side. It was the Muslim Brotherhood, in conjunction with—here in Aberdeen, it’s the Chamber of Commerce, it’s the Aberdeen Development Corporation, it’s the mayor, it’s the special interests that are controlling our politics. We need to show up. They brought busload after busload of people and they filled the committee hall, and it scared people, good people, people that didn’t run to solve this problem. They ran because they believed in good government, how to keep taxes low, and how to fight this little battle of smaller government. They weren’t quite prepared to have a fight on this level. That’s what we’re bringing in speakers like this. That’s why I’m so proud of you guys for showing up. The people that are putting this on have taken a major risk. It’s boldness. This is what movies are written about, are people that stand up and start taking their country back, right? The answer is when we bring legislation next year, please, get in your car, and drive to Pierre. Show up. Bring your friends and neighbors so that we have an equal amount of people in the stands so that we can apply pressure. Let’s have our legislators—let’s show them that we have their back [Senator Neal Tapio; comments to Americans First, Task Force, audience; Aberdeen, South Dakota; 2017.08.09, timestamp 2:23:30].

Funny he didn’t include Lutheran Social Services in his list of enemies of the state as he did in his original SCR 15 text.

I really want to stand with Tapio in his vocal defense of LuAnn Werdel and his new interest in digging into corruption in Pierre. But I cannot support his exploitation of anti-Muslim xenophobia and falsehoods to support his anti-immigrant agenda.

Tapio is one of the insanest in the legislatures. When you libbies glom onto the crazies to try and push them toward your ends it just harms our great state. It is the solid, saner, Conservatives with Common Sense that must rise up again and bring us back from the bring of insanerism.

Hey, it worked for Trump. Tapio is just taking a page out of the Trump play book.

What kind of a name is Tapio? Does it sound unAmerican? Is he spreading hate and speaking against American values because he’s a traitor? Is he a terrorist? Show up. Bring your friends.

grudznick continues an attempt to lay the insanity of republicans at the feet of the Democratic Party,
Trump, Nelson, Tapio are yours, grudznick, you own them.

Tapio is taking two pages “out of the Trump playbook:” Xenophobia and “Swamp Draining” (GEAR-UP). He must be running for Congress. Don’t forget that he is also against the existence of Medicaid too…

In a Tapio world, there’s no corruption, everyone looks the same, and your great aunt lives with you….. (Some people take Mayberry far too seriously)…..

This “Tapio” looks foreign to me and not someone we want in this country. “Tapio” is not a name a real American have.

What can we say about that picture. It reveals almost assuredly a man with terrorist beliefs and intent. That silver tie is a particularly telling part of the wardrobe of these sorts of people. He’s part of the Silver Tie Fanatic Order created to hide murderous intent behind a suit and silver tie. The tie clasp contains a small nuclear weapon and that clicker in his hand is an electronic detonator. If you see someone like this, run as fast as you can in the other direction.

I will provide a little information about the real intent of anyone who looks like this. The Order hides in certain types of fundamentalist churches, where the wearers of the silver tie pretend to have Christian beliefs. They go overboard in their pretend devotion while attempting to divide congregations, communities, states and their real and final target, America. So far, they are doing this mostly at the local level. and they are trying, right this minute, to turn people in communities against each other. Some of these people are real believers, and others are just cowardly. So “Tapio” seems to be a “real beiiever, but people like Jackley and Krebs, who have been spotted commingling with The Order, are probably just cowardly. However, we can’t be sure of that. Any one of people of this ilk might be a real threat to Americans and American values.

I’m glad you took time to read this. There’s one thing I agree with this terrorist Tapio about. Show up. They are small men with small ideas attracting a small number of small people now, but many of us had fathers, grandfathers or uncles who fought “The Order,” or as it was called back then “the Nazi Party.” Only by showing up and confronting “The Order” will we be assured that gas chambers won’t be used on Americans.

Electing nutballs like this is the direction South Dakota is going. In a few years Lora Hubbel will be back in office and her views will be mainstream.

a busload? I was there only few of us rode in 2 cars.

Donald, the Tapio’s that I have known are Mexican, Neal looks dark enough to have Mexican blood flowing through his veins.
Perhaps he should busy himself more with fighting Trump’s wall than instigating hate in South Dakota.

I grew up as a neighbor of Mick Levson and his syblings! I assure you he has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood anymore than the other groups mentioned by these two haters! Anybody that goes to these events are just haters and bigots! That includes Krebs and Jackley!

Mohamed, I wondered if “busloads” was another fabrication. Thank you for confirming that it was. Now let us hope that Tapio does not organize real busloads of fearful, screaming retirees to trundle off to Pierre to shout in favor of his coming package of Trumpy hate-legislation. We can only hope his Republican colleagues will show less patience with Tapio’s ugly bills than they did for his grandstanding SCR 15 last winter.

And don’t lose sight of the obvious lie about reputable Aberdeen leaders, real leaders who do real practical problem-solving rather than spouting the demagogic nonsense Tapio prefers. Tapio fuels the John-Wayne fantasies of his insecure audience (“this is what movies are written about”?! Yeah, really bad movies, or good movies like Trumbo that show what harm bigots do to truly great Americans), while Mayor Levsen actually paves roads, pays cops, and makes Aberdeen a place where workers want to live and employers want to do business (which isn’t easy 70 miles from the nearest Interstate Highway and five hours from the nearest major league ball game).
