National Conservative Women’s Group Endorses Krebs

Maggie’s List has endorsed Shantel Krebs in South Dakota’s U.S. House campaign:

Of course, touting this endorsement is kinda unfair to Krebs’s primary opponent, Dusty Johnson*, since there’s no way he could get on Maggie’s List. The PAC, founded in honor of Republican Margaret Chase Smith of Maine, the first woman elected to Congress, only endorses “quality conservative women,” and Johnson fails at least one of those criteria.

Maggie’s List’s South Dakota chair is Mary Jean Jensen from Lemmon, who as of June 30 had donated $250 to Krebs’s House campaign and had shaken another $250 loose for Krebs from her husband Eldon. Mr. Jensen’s contribution to Krebs came on March 25, just three days after he gave $250 to Johnson.

*Correction 08:35 CDT: Breakfast helped refresh my neurons and remind me that Krebs faces Johnson, not Jackley, in the House primary. I regret the error!

  1. It was good of Mr. PP to make you regret it, I suspect.
