Lake County Dems Host Progressive Mixer August 8 on Lake Madison

Speaking of Lake County, defenders of democracy and good government should head to the Broadwater on Lake Madison next Tuesday, August 8, for the Lake County Democrats’ Progressive Mixer!

Looking for some good food, good drinks, and some good conversation? Join us at the Broadwater Bar on the north side of Lake Madison on August 8th, at 6 pm, for a progressive mixer where you can visit and commiserate with folks on the issues of the day! Commiserate? Try collaborate, conspire, and come up with candidates and courses of action to kick Trumpublicans out of office!

Plus, it’s at the Broadwater, which is beautiful in August:

Jake, you sound like you’re complaining just to complain. The Facebook event is public. Click on the Progressive Mixer link, and you’ll see that you can access it without even logging into Facebook. The Lake County Democrats is similarly public.

Outstanding drone photo. A SoDak revisionist could spend summer’s there, cabin bound, lost in thought and writing the next prairie novel.

    Jake gosmire
The invitation is open to anyone.
The real question is whether or not you can handle some truths about the republican party and your supreme leader.

If I have question wouldn’t the logical thing to do is call our senators and representative? District 8 representation is all online. Phone numbers and all. Senator Youngberg, Rep Weise, and Rep Heinemann all have their contact info out there? Just a thought, but it sounds like a good event for envolment just wish everything wasnt so partisan.

Um… what, Jake? Yes, legislators’ contact information is posted on the LRC website. What does that have to do with this publicly advertised LC Dems event and with your perception of “everything” being “so partisan”? You’ve left a lot unsaid that I need to hear to understand where you’re coming from and where you’re headed on this topic.
